    I'm 20 years old. I've been "officially" ex-muslim for 2 years now, but began questioning things for about another 2 years before that.
    I come from the typical ex muslim background I suppose, crazy religious parents that drilled a fear of eternal hellfire into me since I was out of the womb and then finally thinking logically for myself around the age of 17.

    Anyway I'm not "out" to my family; to do so I'd probably risk my life; so I don't ever plan on telling them. I kind of live a double life for when I'm at uni and when I'm back home, which I'm content to hold up with.

    Obviously I don't know many people who understand my situation- in fact I personally know no other ex-muslims- so I've decided to join CEMB just for general chat / ranting when I can't talk to anyone else!

    Your name is very interesting to me, as I'm guessing you'd be either a future medical student, or possibly just an anatomy buff (maybe a calf fetishist!?)?     Hahahaha I can assure you I am no calf fetishist. I'm actually a current medical student- revising for exams at the moment and that was the first thing to come to mind when selecting a username haha.
