Islamic State Claims Responsibility for Shia Mosque Blast   in Kuwait  says news

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mI2Nsaxja1c

    Quote
A bomb exploded at a Kuwaiti mosque packed with Shiite worshippers Friday, an attack that followed recent bombings claimed by the Islamic State targeting other Shiites in nearby Saudi Arabia.

There were no immediate figures on causalities from the blast at the Imam Sadiq Mosque in Kuwait City during Friday prayers.

Images posted on Twitter purported to show children lying on the ground either wounded or dead. The authenticity of the pictures could not be verified There was no immediate assertion of responsibility, but it followed two attacks last month on mainly Shiite mosques in Saudi Arabia that killed about two dozen people. The Saudi attacks were claimed by the Islamic State, whose Sunni followers view Shiites as apostates.

Shiites are estimated to comprise a third of Kuwait’s population of 3.4 million.

Friday’s bombing in Kuwait occurred during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, when turnout at Friday prayers is generally higher than at other times of the year.

    Thanks all.

I'll have to admit, I've been saddened by this event and was unsure of the immediate future.

The response of the general public towards this has been immense. So many people went to donate blood that they had to turn people away. Many expatriates went to donate from a humanitarian perspective which I applaud, but my source of pride is how many kuwaitis went to donate as a form of protest and unity. This gives me hope. This attack would've been devastating if it wasn't coordinated with the other attacks. This is managing to unite the people against the absurdity of this line of thought and the can't keep putting their heads in the sand because this is not happening abroad, this is home and about people you see everyday who are your neighbors and coworkers.

Kuwait arrests driver in mosque attack  says news   with these pictures

Images made available by the Kuwaiti Interior Ministry on Sunday show Abdulrahman Sabah Eidan Saud (left), driver of the car used to transport a suicide bomber that blew up the Al-Sadeq mosque in Kuwait City on Friday, and Jarrah Nimr Mejbil Ghazi, owner of the car. (AFP PHOTOS)

    Quote
KUWAIT CITY: Kuwaiti police arrested a driver who transported a suicide bomber to a Shiite mosque where he blew himself up, killing 26 and injuring 227 people, the interior ministry said on Sunday.

Authorities have also detained the owner of the house used as a hideout by the bomber, a Kuwaiti national who subscribes to “extremist and deviant ideology,” the ministry said in a statement. The suicide attack, the first bombing of a mosque in the oil-rich Gulf state, was claimed by the Daesh (Arabic acronym for the group calling itself Islamic State) jihadist group. The Daesh-affiliated group in Saudi Arabia, calling itself Najd Province, said militant Abu Suleiman Al-Muwahhid carried out the bombing.

The driver, named Abdulrahman Sabah Eidan Saud, was described as an “illegal resident” born in 1989, who took the bomber to the Al-Imam Al-Sadeq mosque in Kuwait City on Friday.

and the same news says "Kuwait mosque bomber a Saudi national, say probers"

Evil forces ‘drove’ bomber  says SAND LAND. COM

that is 22 year old Saudi  Fahad Suleiman Abdulmohsen al-Gabbaa who became a suicide bomber of that Shia Mosque in  Kuwait .

    Quote
JEDDAH: The father of the suicide bomber who blew himself up in a mosque in Kuwait has blamed “evil” forces for his son’s behavior.

Sounding confused and sad, Sulaiman Al-Gabbaa, the father of Fahad Al-Gabbaa, said: “An evil hand has sent my son to his death.” Al-Gabbaa said he was shocked to hear on television that his son was involved in the bombing of a Shiite mosque on Friday that left 27 dead.

“I spoke with my son four days before the incident. He had asked me about going to a mosque and making itikaaf (contemplation and prayer in a mosque). I was surprised to learn he was the terrorist who bombed the mosque in Kuwait,” Al-Gabbaa said in an interview published Tuesday in a local publication.

Al-Gabbaa said he had noticed his son acting in a “suspicious” manner because he stayed indoors. “He was working at a restaurant in Riyadh, and had been divorced after a short marriage. He had lived in Qassim for four months at the start of his marriage, then returned to my house in Riyadh.”

He said that he did not know how Fahad became radicalized. “He was at home a long time and did not go to any conflict areas. Fahad was very good to me, his mother and brothers. He was the second of four children,” he said.

why? what happened to allah god?  Heeeeeeee  didn't have power to  change the evil forces and the brain of these evil forces?  apparently he was good Muslim  kid until his 19th birth day and with in two/three  years these veiled evil  forces changed him ... what is our allah doing doing  then?? sleeping? sleeping for 1400 years??
