Islam literally exploded onto the map.. would be interesting to see the pre Vedic and pagan religions included, but I guess we don't have enough info on them.

The video itself fails in it's premiss. The major religions are christianity, islam, hinduism and buddhism. If we're to count atheism/no religion, it's the third largest group with hinduism coming fourth.
