  • My parents don't want me to read a translation of the Quran?
     OP - July 26, 2015, 11:21 PM

I have been reading an English version of the Quran online and my parents are trying to stop me. My mom thinks that it could be a mistranslation by the "Jews". My dad thinks it can create fitna and might lead me astray? WTF?

    That's hilarious.

Maybe ask your parents to get you a translated copy from a Muslim librarian they would trust? Tell them you really want to learn more about Islam.
