While I'm very glad he's finally been charged, the truth is that he & similar hate-preachers are not the root of the problem. Of course it's easier to blame them and vent our anger and frustration - and perhaps even our guilt - onto them. No doubt it makes us feel better, but until we (as Muslims) start asking some serious questions of ourselves and the religion we subscribe to - & find truly convincing answers - not laughable apologetics - then the Anjem Choudarys will keep coming.
Well said, unless this occurs, I fear that the future generations of "muslims" might be subject to the same type of treatment in the west, as religious minorities do in the muslim world. I wrote "muslims", because it concerns everyone with muslim background, believers, doubters and even non-believers.
