This guy's death has broken the heart of an entire city. Just by always walking around, smiling and waving back at everyone who cared to acknowledge him, he spread so much warmth and happiness to anyone who crossed his path. I'm genuinely gutted.

This is probably only of interest to people in Bradford and it's surrounding area. But I am moved enough to post his story here. May he finally put his feet up, and get the rest and the heaven he so richly deserves.

Thanks for posting the link to the article - it was a v interesting read.

It's characters like this that make me think the world is not such a nasty place after all.

    May he rest in peace.

Falls are so dangerous to the elderly.

There's a lot of good in this world. It's just that bad news sell more.

Another Jesus, another free spirit. I saw him once, dancing naked in a pond.

He sounds a character. Fascinating read, thanks David. It seems these guys are always remembered more fondly than they would ever have realised.
