    Anybody interested in this? Do you think many exmuslims would need it?

    I'm a web programmer, so I can definitely help make it (though I would need moderators/admins to manage it).

    So what do you guys think?

    Some features that many exmuslims seem to need:
    • Filter by ethnicity and current residence. I've heard so many times that muslim parents want same ethnicity spouse...
    • Filter by sect (sunni/shia/ahmadi? LOL) Also for muslim parents who only allow their children to marry same sect.

    Maybe make it available for liberal muslims as well?

    The whole purpose is to keep identity anonymous. That means, you can choose to not post your photo, or even real name. Just use nickname.
    Members are free to register, but to attend large meetings they must be approved, similar to reddit exmuslim meetups. Approved members can be tagged as "approved".

    Members (approved or not) are free to message each other and maybe share real name / photos if they want. Arrange your own date, etc. However they are not advised to do this to random strangers. No you can't share dick pics, no sexual harassment allowed.

    They can also specify if they want marriage as the end-goal (muslim parents, as usual) so that they can pretend together.

    Well I'm just gathering ideas from common exmuslim problems.

    I would really be interested in this..

    I'm not sure if we're at that level of freedom yet though.. I'm a little paranoid of Jihadists signing up for that website and meeting up with ex-muslim women to behead them..

    But all jokes aside, it's a great idea, but women on this forum are even afraid to show themselves, so not sure how effective it might be even if you did create the website.

    I haven't really thought of using dating websites but if there are enough people who can be open about their apostasy, it's a nice, new and creative idea for many.

    I agree with ExMVG, perhaps it's a little risky right now. Depends on the feedback you get though Smiley

    Updated the original post.

    My idea for creating this is to help exmuslims maintain their cover from muslim parents. Ex-muslim couple can have nikah together and then live abroad so their parents won't cut them off / wont' break their parents heart. It's easier than marrying other religions / muslims, less drama.

    Oh man, now that I think about it, it's probably a good thing that women don't show their faces on here.. We might have some thirsty guys from Ummah forum trying to get on here and "re-convert" some ladies..  Cheesy
