I doubt if he will be hanged and considering how ugly sectarian politics can get in Kano,there is a possibility that he might be accused for blasphemy out of malice so with that consideration he might win the case at the upper courts. Besides the federal government has banned any death sentence dished out by Sharia courts after Amina Lawal episode in early 2000s
