He wasn't. Zoroastrianism influenced Judaism during the Persian period. This is where the purification rituals and standards came from. Muslims make the mistake based on their presupposition regarding Islam. Since Islam can not be false any similarities between it and another religion must be based from an Islamic point of view. In reality it was Zoroastrianism that changed Judaism by introducing the purity and purification rituals, concepts of hell, views of fire, etc. Judaism, thus Islam, is in part from Zoroastrianism as well as Canaanite religions. Which just points out the all too human origins and evolution of religions in the area

well bogart., when Adam .. the alleged first human being is a prophet., then I say

all those guys in the above picture are prophets., so what is the big   deal if a Indian Muslim guy calls Zoroaster  the alleged prophet of Zoroastrianism as prophet??

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything
I renounced my faith to become a kafir,
the beloved betrayed me and turned in to  a Muslim

It is blatantly co-opting one religion for the solely purpose of boosting their own based on nothing.
