    (Luke 19:27)

"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household. Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."

and those words you can see in Quran also in slightly different format ... and that tells me something., Even those violent verses that I read in Quran also come from earlier faiths and faith heads..

Muhammad of Islam is made up cartoon character  made from  Multiple faces  that are born in different sects of different faiths   at different  times of early Islam.,  Where as in the case of Muhammad of Quran,  Unlike bible Quran Has no word "Muhammad" and his immediate family members in it ..  I say more than 70% of Quran verses we can see come from  in OT & NT..  So I would confidently say  early Islam is product  from  Christian/Jewish sects.

And later  times.  Arab pagans took that ball and ran to goal posts with in 100 years of Islam. And they did fantastic job  starting from Saudi Arabia ...All the way to Spain to its  west and all the way to Indian subcontinent to its east

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything
I renounced my faith to become a kafir,
the beloved betrayed me and turned in to  a Muslim

Jesus use to talk in hyperbole.

while ALLAH and Muhammad commandments are directly and literally towards the believers.

let me delete the word Muhammad..   and the word Allah was there in Arabic language  before Muhammad and before Christ ., There is no Muhammad in Quran hence no Muhammad in Islam.

And I am also not sure about Jesus  and his hyperbole talk .

Jesus has had similar "did he even exist?" questions leveled at him as M. has had recently; but in what survives of J's words, he made a claim to be the king. In fact, to be God's viceroy on Earth: the heir to David and Solomon. (I understand that Muslims have the same concept, the khalifat Allah.)

So if Jesus didn't get around to bumping off enemies, it's mainly because he didn't win.

Maybe he used to talk in code. Perhaps because he was a member of a community that was occupied, taxed, and oppressed by foreign rulers who had local agents on their payroll.

It is also a good argument for a peaceful line, not actively seeking confrontation.
Declaring that all Romans were a bunch of thieving unclefuckers that should have their throats slit and be thrown in the sea (the sooner the better), would probably move the sect from category of "just another messianic bunch of jewish escatologists, but who cares?" to "Rome, we have a problem... but nothing we can't nail in a hurry".

If you on the other hand are a successful warlord, political correctness and gentleness is not likely to be your prime concern.

^Maybe also, and perhaps more importantly, that the early Christians were living in a world where challenging the empire wasn't really an option (and when Jewish revolts actually happened they ended in disaster). So whatever the real historical Jesus may actually have said later followers may have had good reason to emphasise (or create) the peaceful, non-confrontational side of his message.

Yeah. For sure Isa was not the last. Many charismatic and necessary young men have died in such ways here, ways that should not exist in living memory. I did not know the Black Panthers required six weeks of education to join. So do most peshmarga parties, six weeks at the least.

    That is very likely.

The Roman empire was very polytheistic, and it seems that you could behave religiously almost as you liked, as long as you did not perform human sacrifice, paid your taxes and acknowledged the emperor.
If you on the other hand tried to break down the empire or "went political" (without being able to play the game), you were not likely to last long.
