  • The Ex-Muslim Experience: A qualitative survey
     OP - July 25, 2016, 06:49 PM

Hello wonderful Ex-Muslims and Cultural/Non-Practicing/Agnostic Muslims! I'm sharing a survey for a qualitative research on the experience of moving from being a Practicing/Believing Muslim to an Ex-Muslim or Cultural/Non-Practicing Muslim in order to get more understanding and a detailed picture of the journeys people take to reach these identities. This research aims to raise awareness about Ex-Muslims/cultural Muslims and also reduce prejudices. This is for an anthropology graduate research project that I am conducting at the University of Cambridge. Please DO NOT share any name or identifying information in your answers. The survey has been made anonymous so no IP address or identifying details will be captured. This is a qualitative survey so it is up to you how long or detailed you want your answers to be. Any information you provide to help increase our understanding would be appreciated! Here is the link:

Just to say that this post is up here with our permission, and that this survey is indeed safe to take Wink

I just finished taking the survey. It took me a half hour or so, putting a simple "No" as a response to a few of the questions.

     Skipped the last questions tbh.

Some of them were the same, just reworded.
