I come from a small town, so one thing that surprised me when I moved to Birmingham was the obvious dawah stalls in the city centre. They play Quran with translation really loud, people seem to mostly ignore it, but I couldn't see that going down well in the town I grew up in. They'd probably have EDL types starting a fight or something.

I have thought about talking to them before, but have never bothered. I think may as well leave them to their beliefs, as we won't agree and if I mentioned I was a Muslim, I can only guess they would try and invite me back into the faith. Has anyone here ever had debates with these kinds of people?

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
