Hey guys

I'm planning a trip to Marrakesh with a friend. Do you guys have any advice or tips. Especially regarding hotels and such. It feels like a big adventure, even though people travel everyday to foreign places it's just my first time outside of Europe by myself and I want to prepare and do thorough research.

We want to discover Marrakesh and make some good memories, perhaps make a two-days trip to Agadir before heading home again. One week seems enough. What do you guys think?

It’s a long time since I’ve been but if you’re going to the coast Essaouira might be more interesting than Agadir.

Ouzoud falls and camel riding in the Atlas mountains. Be selective about where you eat because while Moroccan cuisine is phenomenal, there are quite a few bad restaurants. I recommend Roti D'or for a well-priced lunch. Latitude 31 and Azar are great for classy dining with entertainment.

Whenever you get into a taxi, make sure that the metre is on. The souk is great if you know how to get a good bargain but there are lots of people who will put the price way up because you're foreign. Always go with the price they give you divided by 3. There will also be people who will offer to be your guide if you are a bit lost then ask for money afterwards. Be careful with those.
