    So let's sum up:

    1) hate british pakistanis
    2) won't someone think of the children

    I think that's about it?

I'll take that as a charge made against me. Give me a reasoned argument that shows my hatred for British Pakistanis. That's a whole group of people I 'hate'. If anyone else on this forum thinks I'm being 'hateful', speak up. I've attacked a dehumanising 'us v them' mentality within British Pakistani communities that I think is one of the causes of this type of crime. I hate vile preachers and I hate the perpetrators of the crime. How does that equate to hating every British Pakistani or the British Pakistani diaspora as a whole? Why is this not clear to you?

So it looks like the national inquiry into child sex abuse is sweeping under the carpet what to me looks like the worst type of child sex abuse: the targeted grooming and raping of kids :
    Quote
The national inquiry into child abuse was 'scared of being called racist' and refused to investigate some of Britain's most notorious sex-grooming scandals, it has been revealed.

Key witnesses were also barred from giving evidence, victims and experts in the inquiry have claimed, amid accusations of 'cowardly' reluctance to examine mass offending in Rotherham and Rochdale.

In those towns, they say, was a pattern of group crimes in which men of Pakistani heritage were over represented, and the reluctance stemmed from not wanting to face accusations of being racist, The Times reported.

Sammy Woodhouse, a victim in Rotherham, claimed the heads of the inquiry 'have not placed survivors at the forefront' of their investigations, and are 'selective in what they decide to look at,' according to newspaper.

'' If you are going to get to the root of gang-related child sexual exploitation you need to go right to the heart of it,'' she added. 'They are trying to bury what happened in places like Rotherham and Rochdale because they're scared of being called racist.'

Sarah Chapman, Rotherham's campaigning MP and Nazir Azfal, a former chief crown prosecutor who brought justice to the Rochdale sex-grooming gang, are among those appalled by the inquiry's failure to hear evidence.

A former Greater Manchester police officer who exposed the alleged cover-up of sex-grooming crimes in the region accused the national inquiry of being 'too frightened to open the hornet's nest'.

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) began in 2015 and has so far cost £143 million. It is trying to establish why there was an 'institutional failure to protect children' from abuse.

In its investigation into exploitation of children by 'organised networks', the inquiry has looked at the Church of England and the Roman Catholic Church, investigating many of the worst-known scandals involving such organisations.

The organised networks arm on the inquiry was also expected to examine the most infamous cases of group grooming and exploitation.

Big trials over the past ten years have exposed a previously hidden crime model involving the targeting and sexual abuse of teenage girls by groups of men, largely of south Asian origin.

Groups in Rotherham, Rochdale, Oxford, Leicester, High Wycombe, Dewsbury, Peterborough, Halifax, Newcastle upon Tyne, Telford and Burnley have been prosecuted since 2011 for sex-grooming.

From late September, the IICSA held two weeks of public hearings for its 'organised networks' investigation, with the final day for closing submissions set to take place on October 29.

However, it decided not to hear evidence from survivors or those with knowledge of the crime pattern, and instead chose to select six areas of England and Wales - St Helens, Tower Hamlets in east London, Swansea, Durham, Bristol and Warwickshire.

The reason given was that these areas 'represent a range of sizes, demographics and institutional practices', but none of the six areas has witnessed a major prosecution of a south Asian sex-grooming gang.

Furthermore, The Times reports that the 2011 national census found the proportion of the population that is of Pakistani origin is lower than the national average.

Henrietta Hill, QC, who is the lead council of the inquiry, told the hearing on it first day that after the inquiry 'carefully considered the extent to which, if at all, it should focus on areas such as Rochdale, Rotherham and Oxford', the IICSA decided it would be 'more appropriate' to focus on different areas.

The IICSA is investigating claims against local authorities, religious organisations, the Armed Forces, public and private institutions, and people in the public eye.

Following the death of BBC presenter Jimmy Savile in 2011, hundreds of people came forward to say he had abused them as children.

It was established in 2015, following claims from a complainant known as 'Nick' of a murderous Westminster paedophile ring connected to Parliament.

Nick, whose real name is Carl Beech, was later discredited and jailed for 18 years for what a judge called his 'cruel and callous' lies.

Given that many followers of Islam would like me dead for either blaspheming or leaving the religion, they make a perfectly good distinction between Muslims and non-Muslims that is unmistakable.

Let's just ask why the white dominated patriarchal police force in the UK looked the other way for so long and then decided to point fingers at a minority while sanctifying themselves as above reproach on their reasons for ignoring the issue. Or why vulnerable children were not protected, much less listened to? Classism, misogyny.. lazy ass cops.

So we have those in power: the cops

the perfect criminal as in every movie: non-white

    the perfect victim: children

I blame the cops for not doing their damn jobs as well as for reviving their British colonialist past by vilifying a portion of the population. Focus on those in power and the issue is clearer. When laws are not enforced can we expect laws to be followed? If it is known that a population is wide open to exploitation, can we not expect exploitation to occur? We have seen this in the US among our religious minorities, too. Where law is absent, crime is rampant.

The cops didn't blame anyone, they turned a blind eye and that's it. An Asian police officer  from Halifax was charged with sex offences so that says something.

But yes, authorities did turn a blind eye. However something also has to be said about the bare faced evilness of the views and crimes of the grooming gangs and the culture that seems to have inspired them. Apologists keep equating them with your average 'White British paedos' and it's just trying the sweep this scandal under the carpet. These groomers aren't your loners standing outside a school to grope a child or someone downloading child porn on the Internet. These were networks of gangs, targeting multiple victims, repeatedly raping them in many cases and in some cases threatening to rapr their mothers if they ever spoke up. Plying them with alcohol and drugs too. This is the worst of the worst and committed by migrants or descendants of migrants from backward parts of Pakistan. They bought shame, real sense of the word shame and not the retarded kind on our communities.

Ha, British role models. Have you seen Pakistan's heroin addiction problem, one of the worst in the world? A big source of drugs into the UK is from Pakistan.

And who is 'inspiring' these mostly Pakistani rape gangs when they are disproportionately prevalement in this type of crime of abusing kids? Why was just one town of Rotherham described as the worst child sexual exploitation scandal in the history of Britain? How many high profile Christian grooming gangs can you think or white British grooming gangs? Where are the native 'petty criminal class' driving around to rape kids if they're such an inspiration? Why haven't I heard about them? Answer me these crumble.

No one would be thinking of picking up their pitchforks if the authorities were doing their jobs, but apparently they're still failing victims:
    Quote
Grooming gangs continue to abuse children in northern towns and police are still failing to investigate, according to alleged victims and campaigners.

Whistle-blower and former detective at Greater Manchester Police, Maggie Oliver, has told Sky News that she's helped 2,000 victims in the last year alone who have been "fobbed off by the authorities".

Sky News understands that the Home Office is preparing to publish a paper on predatory gangs as early as next week.

And here is a link to that long awaited paper and its review: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/group-based-child-sexual-exploitation-characteristics-of-offending

    The Independent's summary:
    Quote
Grooming gangs come from “diverse backgrounds”, a Home Office review has concluded.

The research, originally promised by Sajid Javid in 2018, was published on Tuesday following a government U-turn.

The Home Office previously said releasing the paper would not be in the “public interest”, in response to a Freedom of Information request by The Independent, but committed to making it public after a petition signed by more than 130,000 people.

The paper said that although a number of high-profile grooming cases, including Rotherham, Rochdale and Telford mainly involved men of Pakistani ethnicity, “links between ethnicity and this form of offending” could not be proven.

“Research has found that group-based child sexual exploitation (CSE) offenders are most commonly white," it added.

“Some studies suggest an over-representation of black and Asian offenders relative to the demographics of national populations. However, it is not possible to conclude that this is representative of all group-based CSE offending.”

The document said there were issues with the data used in existing studies, sample selection and a “potential for bias and inaccuracies”.

“It is difficult to draw conclusions about the ethnicity of offenders as existing research is limited and data collection is poor,” the Home Office added.

Evidence from police forces said that gangs “come from diverse backgrounds”, but that most are ethnically homogenous.

Grooming gang members are predominantly male and under the age of 30, but can be much older, the research said.

“A sexual interest in children is not always the predominant motive,” it added.

“Financial gain and a desire for sexual gratification are common motives and misogyny and disregard for women and girls may further enable the abuse.

“The group dynamic can have a role in creating an environment in which offenders believe they can act with impunity, in exacerbating disregard for victims, and in drawing others into offending behaviour.”

Police who have investigated cases told the Home Office they believe abusers seek to distance themselves from victims by “othering” them, because they are from a different community or gender.

The report said that identified victims are mainly girls aged between 14 and 17, and may have vulnerabilities that create barriers to seeking help.

They include being in care, learning disabilities, drug and alcohol dependency, mental health issues and previous abuse.

The report said the prevalence of grooming gangs could not be determined because of under-reporting and recording practices, as offenders are charged with a wide range of different crimes.

In the year to March 2020, around 10,500 crimes were put under a new CSE “flag” created by police to improve data collection.

A snapshot of data taken in June 2020 showed there were more than 70 live grooming gang investigations across England, Wales and Scotland, although only 32 of 44 forces submitted information.

The nationalities and ethnicities of suspects in current investigations “varied considerably”, the report said, including British, American, Bangladeshi, Bulgarian, Dutch, Eritrean, Indian, Jamaican, Lithuanian, Pakistani, Portuguese and Somali.

“This analysis demonstrated that the existing data would not answer the question of the relationship between ethnicity and child sexual exploitation,” it added.

“Based on the existing evidence, and our understanding of the flaws in the existing data, it seems most likely that the ethnicity of group-based CSE offenders is in line with child sexual abuse more generally and with the general population, with the majority of offenders being white.”

The report said that efforts to combat grooming gangs should not be “limited to focusing on one particular community or culture”, although cultural characteristics and links between offenders can be relevant.

The research found no evidence of a “highly organised national network” conducting coordinated abuse in different areas, which has been suggested by far-right groups who blame Muslims or Pakistani-origin men for the abuse.

Grooming gangs’ structures and modus operandi vary, the report said, although frequent elements include contacting victims in the local area, grooming them into believing they are in a legitimate relationship, and the use of parties, drugs and alcohol to reduce victims' resistance and willingness to report.

The paper warned that such abuse “can happen anywhere”, adding: “This kind of abuse can and will happen when groups of (largely) men have access to potential victims in circumstances where they feel able to act with impunity, and where the group dynamic means perpetrators both give each other ‘permission’ and spur one another on to greater depravity and harm.”

Home Office officials conducted a review of published evidence on grooming gangs, interviews with police officers, original research and used previous independent reports and investigations from Rotherham and other significant cases.

The work was informed by an external reference group including survivors and independent experts.

Sammy Woodhouse, a Rotherham survivor who helped expose the scandal and sat on the external reference group, said the abuse was still happening.

“As a country we still do not understand abuse and exploitation, and the government is not doing enough to prevent and tackle it, so I welcome the publication of this paper,” she added.

“I want perpetrators to be held to account for their criminal activity regardless of race or religion because unfortunately they haven’t, and it still remains a subject that we cannot openly discuss. No one should be exempt.”

Sarah Champion, the MP for Rotherham who also sat on the external reference group, said the report “raises more questions than it answers”.

“The government needs to promote a shift in focus to prevention and early intervention,” she added. “They need to closely monitor the effectiveness of local safeguarding partnerships, rather than seemingly taking this horrendous crime as inevitable.

“Going forwards, I want to see a nationally recognised and approved set of triggers that, once met, require local authorities to provide support for children showing signs of harm, rather than the current postcode lottery when it comes to help.”

The home secretary, Priti Patel, said: “Victims and survivors of group-based child sexual exploitation have told me how they were let down by the state in the name of political correctness. What happened to these children remains one of the biggest stains on our country’s conscience.

“This paper demonstrates how difficult it has been to draw conclusions about the characteristics of offenders.”

Ms Patel said a forthcoming Tackling Child Sexual Abuse Strategy would improve the understanding of child sexual abuse, including around ethnicity, to enable authorities to safeguard children, deliver justice for survivors and “restore the public’s confidence in the criminal justice system’s ability to confront this issue”.

The current research has white people committing the majority of group based CSE crimes. But inadequate research and data collection means we have to take what we have with a pinch of salt. And especially given what we know from campaigners, whistleblowers and the Rotherham report which have accused authorities of turning a blind eye to 'Asian' offenders.

Who is 'far-right' and 'racist'? Are you referring to Carl Benjamin? He's a liberal nationalist and a twattish shit poster. Not my cup of tea but on this issue, he is fairly accurate. I would only suggest that it's not helpful to say that these Pakistani perpetrators go after 'English' girls. It tends to ignore those girls born in England of Pakistani heritage who will be abused in their own homes, and often afraid to speak out because of the culture of shame. Then there's the 'coconut' girls as mentioned. And finally there are those girls who are 'encouraged' into arranged marriages ( or forced marriages). So it's not merely racism on the perpetrators part, there's misogyny for their 'own women'.

Inbreeding hasn't helped. Pakistanis are disppropriately represented again, this time over birth defects in places like Bradford. Yep, the local British population isn't good enough unless for pimping, not even Pakistanis  from neighbouring villages 'back home'. We'll keep it within the family and it'll be all worth it! And the results are beautiful. Disabled kids. Keeps the NHS busy, lovely.

Do you still insist the problems of the Pakistani diaspora are mainly the fault of the British, Crumble? They're not encouraging them to inbreed. They didn't bring the Pakistanis here against their will. They can't claim any unique victimhood when they first came here that would explain their resentfulness , Jews were discriminated too as migrants as well as those from India.

Oh and yeah, where indeed is the 'far right' (God I hate these vague terms of far right/far left) The neo-nazi skinheads were gone long ago. The BNP were annihilated and the EDL were a Poundland fascist group, also reduced to near irrelevance.

'far right' is just conversational short hand for a vague collection of people who do and say certain things. a bit like 'muslims'.

there's an unpleasant eugenics vibe when pakistani/kashmiri immigrants are highlighted as exceptional sources of 'birth defects'.

the question is the problem: 'british asians' are predominantly products of britain. nobody talks about 'british whites' in this way. suffixing nationality with ethnicity/ancestry is mostly unhelpful unless you have particular axe grind.
