Selective moral posturing only takes you so far, especially when I don't remember Owen saying a word against his Novara comrades cheering on Hamas in the name of liberation. I do remember his outrage towards an ex-Muslim on Twitter, Yasmine Mohammed for defending Tommy Robinson. By all means do that but his hypocrisy reeks in other places.

^It's not so much about some high minded aspiration for a caliphate. By all means these posters have been placed opportunistically in Muslim areas. It's more about why anyone should care what the people of faith think about Palestine, especially from those who may be from somewhere like Sylhet or Dadyal and who wouldn't be able to point Ramallah on a map (but may give you a lecture about the history of al-Aqsa).

Also Owen Jones made mention Rochdale voters in one of his recent pieces. Yes let's pay attention to Rochdale voters who flirted with George Galloway in the last by election, a guy who in turn flirts with Bashar Al Assad, that great hero of Muslims lol.

looks like the same aggressive cop attempting a head lock on the first guy and then initiating the punch up when the second guy intervenes.

the legal analysis is very measured but any jury is unlikely to be neutral going into a trial. I suspect the officers will evade justice whilst the brown chaps will feel its full force.

meanwhile, the commentary on social media is still cheerleading for police violence against 'muslims/pakis'. it's not just the usual edl people either: the younger phone-addicted generation are regurgitating this racist nonsense too.

Could be - but they may have more of a problem with the assault immediately afterwards on the guy who was filming it. As far as I can see this was entirely unprovoked.
