Bank manager shot dead by security guard allegedly over blasphemy  .. Land of Pure news

    Quote
A bank manager was shot dead by its security guard allegedly over blasphemy allegations in Punjab's Khushab district on Wednesday, police and relatives said.

Malik Imran Hanif, the manager of the National Bank of Pakistan branch in Quaidabad tehsil of Khushab, was shifted to a local hospital after he was shot by the guard from a rifle. Due to his critical injuries, he was taken to Lahore where he succumbed to his wounds at the Services Hospital.

Khushab District Police Officer (DPO) retired Capt Tariq Wilayat told Dawn it would be premature to comment on the motive behind the murder, but confirmed that the security guard, who was arrested after the incident, had claimed to have killed Hanif over blasphemy.

In a video of the suspect that was shared on social media, the guard could be heard saying that the deceased manager had "insulted the prophet".

DPO Wilayat said police were investigating the incident. Quoting initial reports, he said the security guard and the manager had been quarrelling for some time. The guard was reportedly fired a few months ago; he was subsequently rehired and had an argument with Hanif a few days ago, the officer added.

that is the news and you can see the hero of Islam in guard clothes celebrating his killing of a poor guy in the name of blasphemy on the road

Even in Saudi Arabia I don't expect to see scenes like this where murderers are openly celebrated. What an utterly deranged society that's been created by this retrograde country, if you can even call it a country. This guy should be made a Minister of Islam of Pakistan. To paraprahse  Imran Khan's UN speech, insulting the 'prophet' is far worse than suffering physical pain. Well this poor chap is fucking dead now, murdererd by the defender of the prophet, so no big deal for Imran.

If Pakistanis feel so passionate where they want to celebrate murderers in public, then I'm sure they won't mind if countries withold any financial assistance they give them. And you wouldn't mind if you're kicked out of the Commonwealth either. Have your Islamic Republic whilst being owned by godless neo-communists. Don't catch yourself ever looking in the mirror though as you might see hypocrisy staring right back.

Another News from Land of Pure says this today

    Quote
KOHAT: The students of the Kohat University of Science and Technology here on Wednesday attempted to lynch a fellow student for allegedly posting blasphemous comments on Facebook last month. The students were enraged after they found the accused in the classroom in violation of an agreement reached with the administration that he would be expelled from the university.

The students got hold of the accused and started thrashing and kicking him, leaving him injured.

However, vice chancellor Dr Tasleem Hussain got him freed from the students and took him to his office. Later, the VC called the police to the campus to control the situation. Soon afterwards, the anti-riot police along with armoured personnel carriers reached the university, where the enraged students had besieged the VC’s office.

They demanded that either the administration expel him from the university or they would kill him. Later, the students closed all gates of the university and said they won’t open the gates unless a notification for the expulsion of the alleged blasphemer was issued.

Succumbing to the pressure, the vice chancellor issued a notification expelling the student from the varsity, after which the gates were opened by the protesting students.

The students checked each police vehicle for the presence of the student before allowing it to leave the campus. After the blasphemy controversy arose last month, the suspect was sent to prison on the orders of the deputy commissioner.

well that is the news in today's dawn   ,..   Sure that kid will get killed if he doesn't move out of the country ., It is irrelevant whether he really did Blasphemy or not .. His head is stamped by the town and he has no place to go in the town  I don't see DAWN .. I see darkness everywhere.. I need some light...    Kohat  was such beautiful place  in 60s and 70s.. right in the center of present Pakistan....

Bloody Blasphemy Laws and Society Descent into fanaticism .. Land Of Pure...

    Quote
VERY recently, we witnessed the occurrence of two terrifying incidents of vigilante justice..................First, there was the horrific murder of Imran Hanif, a bank manager in Quaidabad, who was gunned down in broad daylight by a security guard employed at the same establishment. Although later reports indicate that there may have been an element of personal enmity involved (apparently the two had had an earlier tiff), once the deed was done, the guard declared the manager a blasphemer. This was not murder, he asserted, but an execution. His motive was pious — all he wanted was to avenge the honour of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

As word spread, a throng of people gathered around the killer. But, rather than decry the fact that he had taken another life, they showered him with admiration and praise. Videos made shortly after the incident depict the murderer not being taken into custody but marching to the police station, boldly and defiantly. And he does not march alone. Escorting him is a whole coterie of fans. They are in thrall, it appears. One kisses his cheek, overwhelmed by emotion. Another caresses him, almost in awe, as though he is an object of reverence. As for the rest, they rally behind and around him, making videos and snapping pictures and chanting slogans....................

    Quote
The second incident took place at Kohat University of Technology, and is eerily reminiscent of the brutal lynching of Mashal Khan only three years prior. A young student accused of posting blasphemous content on social media was assaulted by a gang of his colleagues — on university premises, no less. Thankfully, due to the timely intervention of the vice chancellor (VC) the student was escorted to safety and law-enforcement agencies promptly alerted. This, however, was not the end of the saga.

    .............

Most disturbing, though, is the muteness of the state. The incumbent government, while bemoaning Islamophobia globally and passionately championing the case for making ‘defamation of religion’ an internationally recognised crime, has here at home chosen to exercise silence in the face of such barbarity. No hue and cry has been raised. No denunciation delivered. This bout of paralysis is telling — even the state has succumbed to fear.................

    Quote
]Writing on the subject of fanaticism in his rather peculiar encyclopaedia, the Philosophical Dictionary, Voltaire likened the phenomenon to a disease, remarking that once it has “gangrened the brain of any man, the malady may be regarded as nearly incurable”.

the answer would be to declare war. not on terror, not on religion and not even on stupidity.  a cultural war on on the uncivilised.

unfortunately, most western countries are no longer fit to make the case for law and order after having surrendered themselves to idenitity politics.

unless you think outside your attachments to others  (an indirect attachment to yourself) then you can only be part of the problem. human rights, equality, golden rule, islam, etc - these brain fungi are harmful and must be resisted not adapted.
