The calendar year of Islam begins not with the birthday of our prophet (peace be upon him) not from the time that the revelation came to him (Bethat) nor from the time of his ascension to heaven, but with the migration (Hijra) from an undesirable environment into a desirable place to fulfill Allah's command. It was migration from a plot that was set by the leaders of the Quraysh who were plotting to kill prophet Muhammad, and to destroy the truth that today is being conveyed to mankind everywhere against tyranny and injustice. Their purpose was to destroy the foundation of the Islamic state, the Sunnah of the tradition of the prophet, and to prevent the revelation being delivered by Allah's messenger to mankind.

The Islamic calendar is reckoned from the time of migration (Hijra) of Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) from Mecca to Madina. The Prophet's decision to migrate from Mecca came after several years of inhuman treatment of the faithful by the powerful tribes who were united despite all their feuds to stop the spread of Islam.

Prophet Mohammad's decision to leave Mecca coincided with the infidel's plan to assassinate him. In 622 AD, the Quresh tribesmen held a meeting and decided that a band of young men, one from each tribe, should assassinate Prophet Mohammad collectively so that their responsibility for the murder could not be placed on any particular tribe.

On the eventful night, the Prophet asked his cousin Ali Ben Abutalib to take his place in bed to make the Meccans think that he was asleep. The Prophet himself slipped out unobserved alongwith his loyal follower Abu Bakr (who was chosen as the first C aliph after the death of the prophet). They secretly made their way to a cave named Thawr, not far from Mecca and lay in hiding there for a day or two until Abu Bakr's son reported that the search for him had been given up. Then the two set out from Madina on camel back. They reached Quba, on the edge of the Madina oasis, on 12th Rabiul Awwal. With Mohammad's arrival in Quba a new phase of his career and glory of Islam started.

This migration has a special significance in the history of Islam. It ended the Meccan period of humiliation and torture and began the era of success. His own people to whom he preached Islam for 13 years neglected the Prophet of Islam. But he was cordially received in Madina as an honored chief.

In Madina his power enhanced day by day. Here he was not only the religious leader but took the role of a politician and statesman too. Prophet Mohammad expired ten years after his migration to Madina but only in one decade he changed the course of human history.

In view of this special significance of the Prophet's migration the consultative body advised the Second Islamic Caliph, Omar ben Khattab, to start the Islamic year from the date of migration of the Prophet from Mecca to Madina.

According to early Moslem scholars, Abu Musa Al Shari drew attention of Omar to an improperly dated debenture or IOU which was payable in the month of Shaban but it was not clear which Shaban was actually meant, the present one or the coming one. Omar called the dignitaries for consultation who made several suggestions to begin the Islamic calendar.

Ali (who later became the fourth caliph) suggested the Hijra as the beginning of the Islamic year with Moharram as its first month. Consequently, Caliph Omar in 21 A.H. or 641 A.D introduced the Islamic calendar in its present form.

    QURANIC GUIDANCE

The guidance about the Islamic calendar is taken from the following verses from the Holy Quran: (In the name of GOD most gracious and most merciful)

"Lo the number of the months with God is twelve months." IX:36.

"They ask thee, of new moons. Say: They are fixed seasons for mankind and for the pilgrimage." II:189.

"He it is who appointed the sun a splendor and the moon a light, and measured for her stages, that ye might know the number of the years, and the reckoning." X:5

The Islamic Calendar of 12 Lunar Months is determined by observation of the new moon with no effort by intercalation (addition) or other means to synchronize the Lunar year with the Solar year.

    Someone told me
Thanks for sharing info, I know what your point is. I am just throwing my opinion.
One can’t just compare Jesus with current day Christians. One need to understand the dominant race in Christianity and their background, how they accepted this religion and how it impacted their daily lives.
Jesus was a Prophet, like Abraham, Moses and Muhammed peace be upon them.

The Christians of today's days are product of Roman Empire’s conveniently adoption of Jesus’ religion in 3rd century.
The Europeans had a mixed and scattered culture for thousands of years, with pagan beliefs and other fairy tales dominating the landscape.
With the advent of Christianity in Europe, the locals adopted the religion very quickly, as it did not confronted with their life styles and culture.

Under Constantine who imported (officially) the religion in Europe, Romans ensured that the new religion is in full compliance to their culture and rituals.
For example, during the counsel of Nicaea several aspects of belief systems were standardized before masses (of Europe, non-Semitics, Caucasians) can have a hold onto different version of Bible or common daily life practices of Orthodox Jews. The East Bazentine, new Roman Empire to the central Europe and pockets of other areas in North were mainly pagan at that time. So sculptures, divine figures, certain celebrations, festivities were part of their social life. Moral values were as good as any other region of that time (The middle-east that had Jewish population and influence on others were considered very conservatives, so you can imagine what was going on in Europe), drinking and pork eating was normal and commonly practiced.

So the importer of the new religion made sure that standards set by Bible for Isrealites must not collide with the relaxed (no restrictions) attitude of Europeans towards religion. They customized the religion to best suite the new tenants that eventually became the torch bearer of Christianity within few centuries. The original followers and preachers fell in the background and eventually forgotten. The religion totally changed and took new course where the founder died for the sins, giving followers clean chit to do whatever they do, keep His sculpture in Church, follow the re-branded customs of pagans with renewed stories linked to Jesus for every celebration and festivals, drink and eat pork as before and create excuses (from Jesus’ life) for everything that they do against the Ten Commandments.

The Holy Quran is for every Muslim the sacred Book par excellence, a timeless miracle, the word of God devoid of all defects and above all, inimitable. You surely understand that in other words, to be inimitable is to have a peculiarity that no other has and cannot have. The abundance of examples illustrating the harmony and this linguistic balance of the Koran completely excludes the possibility of a happy coincidence, or an addition of the scribes. To those who claim to provide a work similar to the Qur'an, we ask them to provide us with a Book that will remain intact for more than 14 centuries and which will gather more than a billion worshipers around him, reciting it and crying as he listens to it. This is actually impossible ....

The word sunna, in the Arabic language, indicates at the same time a way, and a tradition even a habit. This terminology has a particular connotation among the ulemas according to their specialty. Sunnah can be defined as all the cult practices with the times of the prophet and his companions. On this subject, the prophet constantly said: "Follow my sunnah and the sunnah of successor rights after me" Tirmidhi. That being said, the ulama of the science of hadith regard everything connected with the life of the prophet as sunna, both history and the physical or moral characteristics of the prophet, either before or after the revelation.

. Whoever claims to love Allah must obey and follow His Prophet - may Allah's prayer and salvation be upon him, on the one hand Allah will love him and on the other hand Allah will forgive his sins. Sunnah concerns not only the way of dressing, eating and drinking, but also and above all beliefs, legal rules, sticking to what the Prophet did as a purely religious act, the behavior towards others, Muslim values, good behavior ... etc

The Holy Quran letter cannot be changed. It is rather the interpretation which we make of it nowadays which must quickly re-integrate the reality and the spirit of the revelation ... In all reality the interpretation of the Koran by the Koran consists in interpreting certain verses of the Koran by other verses bringing a complementary lighting on the same subject what is expressed concisely in one place is explained and detailed in another place.

If we do not find the interpretation of The Holy Quran in its own verses, we turn to the hadîths and sure accounts of the Sunnah because they clarify the Koran and enlighten it.

In reality, there has always been a lot of time, see several centuries, between the prophets and yet the new revelation has always corrected the additions made to the statements of the previous one. Do you not see right in the case of Christianity that a new testament came a thousand years after an old one and more than five thousand years after the genesis to make the necessary modifications according to divine inspiration

In fact every word, in the Qur'anic verses and hadiths has been passed under the sieve of science. It clearly emerged that the scientific evidence of the Qur'an clearly proves its divine origin

Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him does not hate the dog
    But
Select the rules to deal with it

There is a Hadith that suggests kindness to dogs and animals:

    Volume 3, Book 43, Number 646:

    Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, "A man felt very thirsty while
he was on the way, there he came across a well.
He went down the well, quenched his thirst and
came out. Meanwhile he saw a dog panting and
licking mud because of excessive thirst. He said
to himself, "This dog is suffering from thirst as I
    did. "

So, he went down the well again and filled
his shoe with water and watered it.

    Allah thanked
him for that deed and forgave him.

    The people
said, "O Allah's Apostle! Is there a reward for us
in serving the animals? "He replied:" Yes, there is
a reward for serving any animate (living being). "

    (See Hadith No. 551)
(From Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him said: The Messenger of Allah may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "purification of the vessel, if any of you been licked by a dog is to wash it seven times" and: is the Messenger of Allah may Allah bless him and grant him peace of killing dogs and then said: "What mind and mind the dogs, "then permits the hunting dog and sheep dog and said:" If a dog licks the vessel let him wash it seven times and rub it eighth in the dirt) dog licks the vessel: If you drink from the tip of his tongue. rub: Any Dkouh.

Scientifically proven that the dog carrier for some serious diseases, as living in the intestine worm called meningococcal out eggs with feces, and when Lick anus with his tongue moves the eggs to it, and Ntql it to the pots and dishes and the hands of his companions, and which enter the stomachs Vomaaúhm, Vtnhal shell eggs and graduated from embryos that leaks into the blood and sputum, and transmitted them to all parts of the body, and especially to the liver because the main refinery in the body ... And there is a risk of another disease transmitted by the dog and the dog is a disease caused by leaking meat infected with the dog first, and then transmitted it to humans through the saliva of a dog bite, Belhsh wound in the human body ...

The benefits of belonging to the dog, then some people, but these evils become harmful to everyone, so the Prophet peace be upon him and killing dogs, and dog licenses, hunting and plowing and cattle because of the need. At the time of the Prophet may Allah bless him and grant him peace cyst disease is not known, of course, water, and did not know that the origin of dogs, and rabies They were called by the infected dog: the dog vicious.

The best evidence that the gospels and Acts of the Apostles are mere works of fiction is scientific or historical or literary evidence,

We can even establish by literary analysis that the original New Testament gospel was a work of fiction. Rhoads, Dewey and Michie point out, in Mark as Story that the narrator would need to have had unlimited omniscience to know everything he wrote. They say:

The composer of this story has used sophisticated storytelling techniques, developed the characters and the conflicts, and built suspense with deliberateness, telling the story to generate certain insights and responses in the audience.

Literary evidence can also be used to demonstrate that the Acts of the Apostles is a work of fiction. For example, in An Introduction to the New Testament, Raymond E. Brown points to several problematic issues:

In his undisputed letters Paul gives us no information about the first missionary journey.

doubt has been raised about the Apollos episode at Ephesus as Lucan theologising

Since there is no confirmation in the undisputed (or even the pseudonymous) Pauline letters of the appeal to Caesar and the journey to Rome, some who challenge the historicity of Acts dismiss the account of Paul's hazardous sea journey in Acts 27:1-28:14 as novelistic fiction.

We can never verify the existence and martyrdom of Stephen, or the killing of James, son of Zebedee by Herod Agrippa

Arthur J. Bellinzoni takes this comment further, in The New Testament: An Introduction to Biblical Scholarship:

Whether this account [Acts 6] of the Hellenists and of Stephen's martyrdom reflects actual events in the history of the early church or is simply Lukan "theologized" history with little or no factual content is debated by equally competent scholars. The stories in Acts are permeated by literary, , leaving us with little confidence about details of the early history of the Jesus movement.

When Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) conquered Macca, All were forgiven and there were people who planed for his killing and would not miss an opportunity to harm him. He forgiven all and told them you are safe. Even Abu Sufyan who was a commander of Macca Army, was also forgiven.

He was always merciful even when people say bad things about him or threw garbage on him he told everyone whats wrong and right but with love yeah even when someine said someting against friends he corrects them he never said anything to hurt anyone ever

Prophet Muhammad’s anti-racist views are seen in his friendship with Bilal ibn Rabah, a black slave who rose to a leading position within the Muslim community of 7th century Arabia. One story relates how Muhammad defended Bilal after Abu Dharr Al-Ghifari, one of the Prophet’s companions, called Bilal “the son of a black woman.” Annoyed with this emphasis of identifying people by skin color, Muhammad criticized Abu Dharr by stating “you are the man who still has the traits of ignorance in him.” The Prophet’s reference to Abu Dharr’s ignorance refers to the “pre-Islamic” state of jahiliyyah, an Arabic term meaning “the state of ignorance of Divine guidance.”

God is perfect, has no flaws, knows everything

God was not born from a woman's vagina

God does not leave his creation to kill him

God does not eat, sleep, or defecate

    God has no human imperfections

God does nothing that can harm his greatness

God has absolute power and follows no one

But Christ follows the will of God (the Father)

Christ did not know the time of the hour

    People tried to kill him

    He eats, sleeps and poops

Christ was born of a woman

God (the Father) is God alone and Christ is the prophet of God only and is not equal to God (the Father)

Why doesn't God come down to earth instead of the messengers?

The answer for us Muslims is in ‘Aaya 21:23, He is never to be questioned about any act of His while they( people) are to be questioned for their acts.

Allah has given us the messages through his own words in the Quran , and then appointed prophets and Messengers from among us to explain the verses to us. So it is not true that Allah has not conveyed the message Himself.

This whole issue goes back to whether we accept God as the Doer of everything. If we accept this principle that God is doing everything, it follows easily that He explains the Quran through His messenger. It is not the messenger who is doing the explaining, it is God. The messenger is just the means of communication – he is just delivering the message from God to us.

The danger is in forgetting that the guidance is from God and attributing it to the messenger. The messenger does not really guide or explain or purify. Those things happen through him in accordance with God’s will. God is the One who guides and explains and purifies.

“If you want to talk to Allah offer Salah. If you want Allah to talk to you read Quraan.”

The question was can Allah talk communicate with human beings.

So the answer is Yes, he can communicate and he does communicate by Salah and Quran.

in Islam, Muslims pray to God (the Father) alone, whether in public or in secret

Muslims pray prostrate on the ground like the Prophet Christ, peace be upon him

    The problem here

Do Christians pray only to the Father as Jesus prayed?
Or do Christians pray to Jesus and not to the Father?

The second question: Do Christians pray like Jesus’ prayer and prostration to the Fatherand his face on the ground?

Of course, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

    someone told me

Thank you for your kind message about Muslims. My wife and I have looked at many different religions over the years. Both of us grew up Catholic and found it very lacking.

We started our search for God and proper worship to include so-called Protestant religions, Self Realization Fellowship, study of some eastern religions, even went to classes in Hebrew & studied Judaism (which we found to be lacking in belief of anything of an afterlife.

By good fortune our youngest daughter married an Egyptian and for the first time, at the age of 70 we were introduced to Islam, the only true religion we had ever known. Simple and very straightforward, leading us on a straight path

Muhammad ibn (son of) Abdullah ibn (son of) Abdul Mutalib, was born on 12 Rabi 'Awwal in the year 570 C.E. (Christian Era) in Makkah, (today: Saudi Arabia) and he died in 633 C.E. in Yathrib (today: Madinah, Saudi Arabia)

In Arabic the word prophet (nabi) is derived from the word naba which means news. Thus we deduce that a prophet spreads the news of God and His message, they are in a sense God’s ambassadors on earth. Their mission is to convey the message to worship One God. This includes, calling the people to God, explaining the message, bringing glad tidings or warnings and directing the affairs of the nation. All the prophets were anxious to convey God’s message sincerely and completely and this included the last prophet, Muhammad. During his final sermon Prophet Muhammad asked the congregation three times whether he had delivered the message, and called on God to witness their answer, which was a resounding “yes!”.

As well as the essence of their call to One God, another accepted sign of the truth of the prophets is how they live their lives. The accounts of Prophet Muhammad’s life that we have inherited from our righteous predecessors illustrate that Muhammad’s Prophethood was guided by God from the very beginning. Long before, Prophethood Muhammad was being prepared to guide humankind to the straight path and his life experiences stood him in good stead for such a weighty mission. Then at the age of 40 when Prophethood was bestowed upon him, God continued to support and affirm his mission. Any account of Muhammad’s life is filled with examples of his exemplary character; he was merciful, compassionate, truthful, brave, and generous, while striving solely for the rewards of the Hereafter. The way Prophet Muhammad dealt with his companions, acquaintances, enemies, animals and even inanimate objects left no doubt that he was ever mindful of God.

Muhammad’s birth was accompanied by many so called miraculous events and the talk of the extraordinary events no doubt functioned as signs of Prophethood,

Special but not unique circumstances surrounded childhood of Prophet Muhammad and these undoubtedly had a bearing on his character. By the time he was eight years old he had suffered through the death of both his parents and his beloved grandfather Abdul Muttalib. He was left in the care of his uncle and great supporter Abu Talib. Thus even as a young boy he had already suffered great emotional and physical upheaval. Both the many chroniclers of Muhammad’s life and the Quran acknowledge his disrupted life.

Did He not find you (O Muhammad) an orphan and gave you a refuge? (Quran 93:6)

Muhammad’s uncle Abu Talib was poor and struggled to keep his family fed, thus during his adolescence Muhammad worked as a shepherd. From this occupation he learned to embrace solitude and developed characteristics such as patience, cautiousness, care, leadership and an ability to sense danger. Shepherding was an occupation that all the prophets of God we know of had in common. ‘…The companions asked, “Were you a shepherd?” He replied, “There was no prophet who was not a shepherd.”’

In his teens Muhammad sometimes travelled with Abu Talib, accompanying caravans to trade centres. On at least one occasion, he is said to have travelled as far north as Syria. Older merchants recognized his character and nicknamed him Al-Amin, the one you can trust. Even in his youth he was known as truthful and trustworthy. One story that is accepted by most Islamic scholars and historians is the account of one of Prophet Muhammad’s trips to Syria.

The story goes that the monk Bahira foretold the coming Prophethood and counselled Abu Talib to “guard his nephew carefully”. According to biographer Ibn Ishaq, as the caravan in which Prophet Muhammad was travelling approached the edge of town, Bahira could see a cloud that appeared to be shading and following a young man. When the caravan halted under the shadow of some trees, Bahira “looked at the cloud when it over-shadowed the tree, and its branches were bending and drooping over the apostle of God until he was in the shadow beneath it.” After Bahira witnessed this he observed Muhammad closely and asked him many questions concerning a number of Christian prophecies he had read and heard about.

The young Muhammad was distinguished among his people for his modesty, virtuous behaviour and graceful manners, thus it was no surprise for his companions to see him, even as a youth many years before Prophethood, shun superstitious practices and keep away from drinking alcohol, eating meat slaughtered on stone altars or attending idolatrous festivals. By the time he reached adulthood Muhammad was thought of as the most reliable and trustworthy member of the Meccan community. Even those who concerned themselves with petty tribal squabbles acknowledged Muhammad’s honesty and integrity.

Muhammad’s virtues and good moral character was established from a young age, and God continued to support and guide him. When he was 40 years old Muhammad was given the means to change the world, the means to benefit the whole of humanity

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “If a dog drank from a dish of yours, purify the dish by washing it seven times with dust being the first time”. So scholars said if the dog was not impure, the Prophet would not have commanded us to spill the water from which the dog drank because it would be considered a waste of money which the Islamic Shari’ah prohibits.
, this does not indicate harming dogs or killing them as the Islamic Shari’ah commanded Muslims to be kind and merciful to all animals and dogs are certainly included.

    Cat saliva is pure
As for cats, they are pure and this opinion is based on the Prophet’s hadith in which he said, “it is not impure. It is one of these creatures that live in our attendance” (Bukhari)

    1. Pork prohibited in Qur’an
The Qur’an prohibits the consumption of pork in no less than 4 different places.
    It is prohibited in 2:173, 5:3, 6:145 and 16:115.
“Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine,
and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah.”
    [Al-Qur’an 5:3]
The above verses of the Holy Qur’an are sufficient to satisfy a Muslim as to why
    pork is forbidden.

    2. Pork prohibited in the Bible
The Christian is likely to be convinced by his religious scriptures. The Bible
prohibits the consumption of pork, in the book of Leviticus
“And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth
not the cud; he is unclean to you”.
“Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch,
they are unclean to you.” [Leviticus 11:7-8]
Pork is also prohibited in the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy
“And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud,
    it is unclean unto you

Submission to Allah (the Father) alone as all the prophets did Adam, Jesus, Moses, Muhammad and others, peace be upon them

He (peace be upon him) submitted to this position of a slave of Allah, being submissively obedient to Him concerning all that He orders and prohibits, although the Prophet (peace be upon him) was a Messenger of Allah to all the world.

Muslims love and respect all the prophets, especially the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and this does not mean that they worship them, and this is the greatest evidence of how the Prophet Muhammad treated his companions and all people as brothers and friends

    1-

The humility of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) with his Companions

There are many examples of the Messenger of Allah’s humility with his Companions, for example: he, when he was leading the army, used to take the advice of his Companions, as he did in the battle of the ditch when he implemented Selman’s idea, who was one of the Muslim soldiers, to dig a ditch. In fact, he (peace be upon him) helped his Companions in carrying soil on the day of the battle to the extent that his stomach was covered with dust!!

Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prohibited his Companions from standing up for him, and this was only because he was very humble. One-time Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) met his Companions when he was leaning on a stick, and they stood up for him. He (peace be upon him) did not like such an act from them, and told them,

Do not stand up [for the people] as the foreigners stand up to venerate each other related by Ahmed.

This is opposite to what some proud people do because of their love for people to venerate them. Such people become annoyed with others if they do not stand up for them.

Another example of the Messenger of Allah’s humility with his Companions is that he used to sit with them just like any one of them, that is, he did not sit with them in a way that differentiated him from others, to the extent that if a stranger, who did not know him, entered the gathering where the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was sitting, he (the stranger) was unable to distinguish him from the others. The stranger would ask,

Which one of you is Muhammed?!” Although the Prophet (peace be upon him) was sitting among them (his Companions), leaning on his arms related by Al-Bukhari.

The Prophet’s Message was not a worldly message by which he sought kingship or power. It was a prophetic Message for the next life, whose purpose, at all times, was based on gaining the pleasure of Allah, and whose aim was to inform the people about the Message of Islam.

The greatest example of the Prophet’s humility was clear when his Companions praised him and talked to him as though he was a master; he (peace be upon him) used to often say to them, “I am only a slave and Messenger of Allah.” And when he (peace be upon him) heard some of his Companions call him by saying, “Oh our master! Oh son of our master! Oh the best of us! Oh the son of the best of us!” He (peace be upon him) prohibited them from saying these words by saying,

I am Muhammad ibn Abdullah, a slave of Allah and His Messenger. By Allah, I do not like you to raise me above my true position which Allah set for me related by Ahmed.

    2-

The Humility of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) with his family

He (peace be upon him) used to participate in serving his family in the house; he did not think such work was above him. Concerning this, a man asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her),

    related by Ahmed

Yes… Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was very noble; he did not, despite his high level and position, disdain to mend his sandals and sew his thobe. In fact, he helped his family in the house and looked after his own belongings without feeling proud and feeling that he was above such work.

    3-

    His humility as the victor

The day the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) liberated Mecca, the Muslim army entered Mecca as victors with little resistance. They (the people of Mecca) turned their attention towards the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and the hearts of the polytheists, who had harmed the Messenger of Allah and his Companions, reached their throats out of their extreme fear of what the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) may do with them.

In such a situation, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered Mecca. He was riding a camel, reading Surah Al-Fath, with his back bent and his head lowered until the edge of his beard nearly touched his ride, as a show of humility to Allah as well as thanks to Him for honouring him (peace be upon him) with a great triumph.

On that day, a man came to talk to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). The man thought that he was standing in front of one of the victorious kings. This was the situation in which he found himself: in awe of the prestigious position of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). All that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) did was to calm his fears and say the well-known saying,

Relax! I am not a king. I am just the son of a woman from the tribe of Quraish who used to eat dried meat related by Ibn Majah.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) made clear to the man that he was not a king, and he told him what his mother used to eat to make clear that he was one of them (Quraish), not a proud one to be scared of. What type of great humility did the heart of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) feel?! He (peace be upon him) used to lower his wings (to care) for the elderly and the young, his family and his Companions, his relatives and non-relatives alike, even the male and female slaves. All of these, in his eyes, were the same; he did not prefer one over the other except according to their good deeds. His biography abounds with many incidents and proofs that testify to his humility with the people, no matter what their status and situation may have been.

Humility penetrated deeply into the soul of Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)

Forgiveness, humility, compassion and tenderness were established deeply in the soul of the Prophet (peace be upon him), which instilled the love of him (peace be upon him) in the hearts of all those around him. It has been reported that he (peace be upon him) never refused the invitation from anyone no matter how poor or lowly the person may have been, and he never refused any gift that was given to him no matter how small it was. Moreover, if he sat with anyone, he did not raise his knees towards him in a show of pride and prejudice…”

Warning against the leprosy disease, the prophet Mohammed (PBUH) said:
“Escape away from the Leprous the way you escape away from the Lion” [Refer to Bukhari]

The modern Medical science discovered that leprosy disease is one of the most dangerous skin diseases which gets transferred by the Leprosy microbe which has been seen and recognized before one hundred years, however, still (modern medical circles could not find an effective cure to this disease or control it.

Leprosy affects the terminals of the nerves such as the limbs. It makes the leprous lose the sense of feeling. Therefore, he does not feel heat or cold. He may not even the piercing of at horn to his skin. The leprous faces atrophy of the muscles of arms and legs. Ulcers spread on his body particularly on hand and legs. Bones erode and the leprous loses his fingers. It may affected the cornea of the eyes & makes him blind, it may also affect his testis & this means that the leprous may loose fertility & becomes sterile.

The modern science proved that when the leprous sees a healthy or normal person, he gazes at him and then suffers from psychological pain. Therefore, the advice of the prophet wanted to respect the feelings of the leprous.

The saying of the prophet (PBUH) which asked people to run away from the leprous as they run away from the lion shows the dangerous nature of this disease which can be transferred easily and its overwhelming nature.

Modern science also advised people to avoid leprosy people so long as the disease they nurse is active and not neutralized and its activity is not suspended by the use of the available resistant.

    someone told me

    The Qur'an

I just read the first chapter and it’s explanation online and I’m quite taken aback. I’ve also heard the recitation online  - this is otherworldly - and feels divine in origin.

What if we are wrong about Islam and it truly is the final message from God to mankind?

I mean, think about it. All the monotheistic religions are from the Middle East, and Islam claims to be a continuation of the very same tradition stemming back all the way from Adam, to Noah, to Abraham, to Moses, to Jesus and finally to Mohammed. When I look into the core theology which each of these chosen of God preached, I find the very same unshakeable message - it’s continuity is undeniable - and to deny this fact would be akin to signing away all of ones faculties of reason, logic, and higher thinking.

If you truly are a seeking heart, why don’t you pick up a Quran and read/study it with sincerity like I am?

I can’t believe I’m preaching to read the Quran already lol but yeah, do it, if you can live up to your username.

Do not take your information from anti-Islam sites

Do not take your information from Christian missionary organizations

I always say you should learn about Islam from specialized Islamic centers

The Qur'an is in Arabic and the translation of the Qur'an is only an approximation of the meaning of the Qur'an

Many  non_muslims learn the Arabic language in order to study the original manuscripts of the Qur’an as an original source and return to it if the translation makes a mistake in the meanings of the Qur’an.

Because you have an original source for the Qur’an, which is the Arabic language in which the Qur’an was revealed, even if there is an error in one of the translations to interpret the meanings of the Qur’an.You have an original source to correct the translation

Unlike Christians, they do not understand their Bible and interpret it according to their whims

    Christ spoke the Aramaic language

However, you will not find the original source of the Bible as a reference for Christians in the Aramaic language, but only translations in different languages such as Greek and other languages. You do not have a reliable and original source to correct the mistakes of the writers and the incorrect translation.

God has given to the scholars a great role in all times so that mankind will have discoveries and efforts to find out the secrets of the universe that God created
and so that human has a role in life.

Even the Prophet Jesus , peace be upon him, used to cure people of diseases, God willing, as a miracle for him from God
He did not prescribe medicine for every disease

Thus, we notice that there are many medicines in the prophetic medicine and in the Holy Qur’an,
and we must take it and make experiments and discoveries with regard to medicines
but the use of these plants or herbs is not for everyone,

but rather for specialized researchers from scholars, researchers, doctors and men of modern science.
So as not to use it improperly

The Messenger came to perfect behavior. He taught not only us what foods we should eat hut how they should be prepared. Things like covering food, washing hands before eating and boiling food thoroughly when cooking were all stressed by the Prophet.

In fact, the same is true of the etiquette of eating. The Messenger taught us to sit in such a manner that food would fill our stomach only to a third of its capacity.

The Messenger, upon him he peace, mentioned over seventy specific foods which he considered healthy. Modern science has confirmed that he was right. Among the foods mentioned were honey, dates, vinegar, fish, and ginger.

    Preparation of Medicines

Most medicines in al-Tibb al-Nabawi are based on the dietary advice of the Messenger, upon him be peace. A simple illness requires simple medicine.

The cure for imbalance leaning towards heat would be something cold. In fact, the classic example is the fever. The Prophet said, “Fever is from the hell, put it out with water.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

A complex illness e.g. one leaning to hot-dry would require a complex mixture, in our example a cold-dry cure.

The Prophet (PBUH) said “For every illness there is a cure. If the cure matches the illness, improvement will take place by the permission of God.” (related by Jabir in the book of Sahih Muslim) and “God didn’t send down an illness except that He sent down a cure.” (Bukhari).

The above sayings establish their important principles. Firstly, they encourage the administration of medicines. In fact, there is agreement among the majority of Muslim scholars that it’s a must.

Secondly, they imply that, if administering medicine is a compulsion, then searching for a cure must also be a compulsion. Finally, they emphasize the dependence on God.

In this modern age of ours, we tend to depend on the medicines and not on the True Curer. It is interesting to look at how few remember God in illness until they realize their illness is terminal and that there is no hope for a cure.
