MUSLIM fanatics say boxing hero Amir Khan is “a fool” who deserved his first career defeat because he has “turned his back on Islam”.

The radicals claim devout Muslim Khan’s 54-second knockdown against Colombian Breidis Prescott this month was a “divine sign” sent to punish him.

Former solicitor Anjem Choudary slammed the Bolton-born fighter for embracing “English patriotism and nationalism” and claims Amir’s first loss of his 19-fight professional career was God’s way of punishing him for not fasting during Ramadan while training.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star Sunday last night outspoken Choudary, 41, ranted: “Amir Khan is a fool. He went over to Iraq to show his support for British troops. He is happy to get in the ring and drape himself in the Union Jack.

“How dare he do things like this and call himself a Muslim?

“He is supporting the concepts of patriotism and nationalism which are alien to Islam.

“We don’t call ourselves Pakistanis or Germans or British – we are Muslims – our loyalty is to our religion.

“It is Ramadan – so Khan should be fasting not fighting. He got knocked out in 54 seconds and maybe this is the reason why – God is trying to tell him something.

“I would call it a divine sign in the month of Ramadan.

“Khan deserved his defeat because of his support of the British Army and for draping himself in the British flag.

“If he was a true Muslim he would not even be a boxer. It is forbidden in Islam to even throw a punch at another person.

“When he hit the canvas during that fight he should have used it as a chance to wake up and turn his life back towards Islam.”

Exiled cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed has previously branded the British-Muslim hero a “deviant” for brandishing the Union Jack and called him a kuffar – or non-believer.

I was not blessed with the ability to have blind faith. I cant beleive something just because someone says its true.

I want to know whether Amir Khan was fasting in the days running up to the fight. The last time he had a fight during Ramadhan he said he did fast, but not on the day of the actual fight.

This is what he said in 2006:

"Last year I had a fight around Ramadan so I had to fast and train at the same time. Fasting makes you feel weak. You have to wake up at four or five in the morning to eat, but you're knackered and you don't feel like food, you have to force it down. I wouldn't fast on the day of a fight though".

It is a pattern of muslims to go after and destroy anyone with any form of accomplishment in their own society. An entire doctrine developed on the premise that as long as you criticize anytihng, then you are better.

I can not wait for Tut to grow up a little and make something out of himself so his muslims brothers can put him down like a dog because this is what his *brothers* do.

Boy, Anjem Choudary must be desparate for attention if he's giving interviews with the Daily Star. Time and time again he has proven himself to be a complete idiot.

Khan's defence is shit. He was given too much hype when he was never that good in the first place. It was only a matter of time before he went up against someone half decent and got smashed and he did. That's the real reason. lmao

Amir Khan lost because he wasn't a "true" Muslim apparently.

Breidis Prescott beat him and he wasn't even a Muslim, not even a "false" one.

So God really does work in mysterious ways.
