I am new here. How does one pin a message? Do people prefer links or articles on the forum? What is the difference between Lounge and the other headings? Is Lounge less formal or is it more formal? Where does one discuss Islam itself?

Lounge is less formal (as the whole site is), Lounge is where we shoot the breeze. Depending on what the subject is about Islam, it will most likely go in 'Religion and God', or if it has to do with current affairs 'What's Happening'.

If the article is long, I myself prefer a link. If it is of moderate length, I'd say it's ok to just copy and paste it here, with a link.

I chose to get circumcised at 17, don't tell me I never believed.

Put the topic wherever you think it should go. If its wrong the Admins will change it.

The lounge is for general chit chat.

I think the forum layout is kind of self explanatory tbh (no offence intended).

Each sub forum heading has an explanation about what should be posted in there.

Religion would be where you discuss islam, or women in islam if that is what you are talking about.

You may post articles, links, you just can't be spamming the forum with articles without expressing an opinion at the very least.
