    Burbles and I are trying out the online chess thingy. Both of us are crap. Anyway if anyone else wants to have a go just clicky on the drop menu under the Games button. This is only on our default theme at the moment. I can add links to other themes if anyone really needs them.

    How do you get this programme to castle your king?  I just tried the two obvious things, drag the king and drag the rook, and its just moved my damn rook and left the king in the middle of the board. finmad

    Is there anyway that move can be cancelled?  I know it sounds like cheating, but I didn't want the computer to make that move at all.

    At the lower right:  Control Panel >> Request >> Undo.

    I tried that first and it told me it was an illegal move.  Anyway, I'll have to wait for sj's permission to undo the false move before I do anything.

    Let's just open a test match and clear both our sides for castling really quickly, then try it again.

    Sorted. If you move the king to where he'll end up when castling on the queen's side it asks if you want to castle and off you go.  Afro

    I don't think SJ will mind at all. Just do it and send him a pm explaining what happened.

    Yeah, and cautionary note - move it slightly slower than a normal move or it flips straight to "illegal move".

    No, I can't do that.  The request to undo just sends a request to your opponent to see if he'll allow you to undo.  So having made the request, I have to wait for sj's response before I can do anything.
