  • FFI bans talking about Hinduism and India on forums
     OP - November 17, 2008, 03:00 AM

It looks like the religious Christians and western racists that have been calling the shots at FFI for a long time now have finally had their way and banned all discussion related to India or Hinduism from the forums. I have claimed for a long time that these groups (who are likely overrepresented in the moderating team) have been trying to marginalize Hindus posting on FFI and prohibit the discussion of India related topics and have been accused of being nuts as a result.

    Quote
    Dear roshan,

we have now extended our policy towards Khalistan topics to indian Hindu/Christianity/Conversion topics. All those topics are dumped.

    Best Wishes,
    M.

I got this as a reply when asking why a thread I started about the psychological impact growing up in a Christian environment had on my aging aunt was garbaged. My aunt (who is still a Hindu) became deranged after a failed suicide attempt, believing she "had committed a terrible sin against the holy ghost".

Apparently, all topics even remotely related to India, Hinduism or Hindu posters have been put in the garbage, including:

    - A topic about Sai Baba, an Indian cult leader who fakes miracles and is likely a paedophile
    - A topic about Nalanda, an ancient Indian university that was sacked and destroyed by the Muslims
    - A topic about polyandry in India
    - A topic about whether India should give up on the Kashmir issue
    - A topic about the ban on public smoking in India
    - A topic about yoga and the devil
    - A topic about the recent giving of Indian citizenship to Pakistani Hindus and the abduction and forced marriage of Hindu girls in interior Sindh
    - A topic about the holocaust of Hindus in Kashmir

The latest thing going on around is that Ali is now going to start another website, where he will air all of his non-muslim ideas like Obama etc  Cheesy, and the site will be called alisina.org

    FFI.. Final Fantasy I...

Yeah, things have crumbled apart over there. Wow.

A website about his other things. I guess he knows it is over. From all online Muslim forums: they know Ali Sina is a crap pot.

I am about to launch another site dedicated to Obama. I consider this man extremely dangerous. The Americans should be watchful and be able to interpret his actions, that can be done by understanding him.  Maybe I will launch alisina.org for that purpose.

Cheesy They should rename FFI to FFS.  whistling2

Either that or retire Sina to a nice, warm padded cell or something. He's gone loopy, poor old thing.

Nope, it´s  high time the rabid threads about the continuous, neverending subcontinental infighting get nipped in the bud! DON`T come over here to go on with that shyte now, Roshan! You lot were BORING the pants of EVERYBODY non/subcontinental for ages....

Here comes Diotima ready to start with her usual racist rants regarding "subcontinentals". Actually Indian posters at FFI were mostly a peaceful, friendly, intelligent bunch. The main problem is that racists like you in the FFI moderating team gave trolls like Yohan free reign to abuse and troll Indian posters and hijack India related topics. I have seen hundreds of great posters leave the forums as a result of being driven away by the usual trolls.

I suppose it was in their interest to let these trolls thrive, as these trolls helped further their Christian agendas, allowed them to form racist generalizations and stereotypes about "subcontinentals", drove away the Hindu posters and now has conveniently let them ban all India and Hinduism related discussion altogether.

Do we really need to discuss what they do in the 'other place'? Admin team might have found too much discussion on Hinduism and sub-continent is drifting from the discussion of Islam and ex-Muslims. Or they might have been wrong, we never know. Few funny comments on Ali's anti obama mission is alright, but what the admins do to that forum should not be our concern. Right?

Amen!! But the fighting crowd of SUBCONTINENTALS (whether moslem, hindu, atheist, christian or whatever) just won´t GET IT. Roll Eyes

(and hey - am sort-of-dating an Indian man, who btw is highly amused by what I tell him about the goings-on in those debates at FFI! To accuse ME of racism against Indians is as dumb as it gets... but that´s what blind rage does to the best of brains!  cool2 )

Yes, but you need a dispensation from the Bishop, which is usually granted. The marriage won´t be a sacramental one, though. That can only happen between catholics (like Anand Karaj only is possible between Sikhs). But it´s discouraged. One ought to think deeply about that, because mixed marriages are extra difficult, especially, when children come along. They require extra tolerance and understanding from both sides. Shared values are of the essence for a good marriage, a real marriage of the minds and souls, so make sure you have that, anyway.

    +1

I don't mean to be rude or offensive in anyway but when I was a member at FFI I also found all the hindu/khalistan/india threads were ott and far too many.

It just seems silly to use FFI as a platform for that issue, when you can easily set up your own forum for that specific issue.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.
