     OP - November 18, 2008, 02:14 AM

    Mr. Oliver Pie piggy
I know these pics are a bit big but oh well. I ended up picking this guy.
    8 weeks old.
He isn't as calm as I thought but he's great. Eats, sleeps, shits, and plays.
My little sister calls him Pie-Pie.

Hey boy genius: it's a domestic cat. You know, the ones that are also known as Felis domesticus. Those ones.

That's really cool Iggy.  I used to have a cat called Oliver, who was a ginger tom as well.

Humans domesticated them in the first place, we need to me encouraging them back out into the wild. No supporting this evil practice of keeping them captive, just because a prisoner has never seen freedom does not mean we should not free it, when its imprisoned for some sick persons pleasure!

My cats love being spoilt rotten and having a nice place to live. If you tried to encourage them to go back to the wild they'd tell you to bugger off.

Cats present a risk of overpopulation, as well. According to the Humane Society of the United States, 3–4 million cats and dogs are euthanized each year in the United States and many more are confined to cages in shelters because there are significantly more animals being born than there are homes. - wiki

Sums my argument up pretty much.

That isn't an argument against domestic animals. It's an argument against mindless breeding with no regard for the consequences.

n Islam there is not a sacred species, it is said by some writers that Muhammad had a favorite cat, Muezza.[74] It is said he loved cats so much that "he would do without his cloak rather than disturb one that was sleeping on it".[75] - wiki

Muezza (or Mu'izza) (Arabic: Huh??) is said to have been the Islamic prophet Muhammad's favorite cat.[1] The most famous story about Muezza recounts how the call to prayer was given, and as Muhammad went to put on one of his robes, he found his cat sleeping on one of the sleeves, and instead of disturbing the cat he cut off the sleeve and let him sleep.[2] It has also been recorded that he used water that Muezza had drunk from for wudu.[3]

Muslims are traditionally encouraged to regard cats as lovable and cherished creatures, and mistreating a cat (or any other animal) is seen as a severe sin in Islam.[4][5]

Sending cats back into 'the wild' would worsen the problem described above, so I think you should have said, "contradicts my argument pretty much."

We can say 'send it back to wild', if someone tries to domesticate Cheetah  parrot

    Domestic feline is OK.  bunny

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I remain.

    Is he affectionate?  Smiley

He loves snuggling up to people when he is sleepy. When he gets enough sleep, he gets bolts of energy and bugs everyone but me. When he gets sleepy again, he comes back to me lol. The night before the last, he was tapping my sister's nose and going in her shirt at midnight, then he came back to my bed to sleep. lol He loves feet and pounces on them all the time. And he likes my mom! she's trying real hard to like him back. She pets him all the time but hates it when he gets hyper. They're cute together.

Cool.  Afro Does he swing on the curtains?  Cheesy

Yup! And he loves dangling sheets and blankets more than anything. We put a small litter-box sized container on top of him and he walks around the house hiding in there and it looks like the container is moving all by itself. It's so funny.
