  • Salah — the Benefits
     OP - November 21, 2008, 09:07 PM

    Dr Ahmed H Sakr, PhD:

“You will get rid of the extra electrostatic charges from your brain and the central nervous system by performing the daily Salah. Through Salah, you are to prostrate by putting your forehead to the floor; and as such are grounding yourself, and you are discharging these extra charges into the ground. As a result of this act, you will get rid of many of the neurological diseases from your body.”

    What… the… f—uhhhhh?!

"At 8:47 I do a grenade jump off a ladder."

If anything, you will rub your head on the carpet and acquire even more electrostatic thingies.

I bet once someone brings this to his attention, some other nobel laureate from down there will publish stating how useful the charges are for our brains.

"Ask the slave girl; she will tell you the truth.' So the Apostle called Burayra to ask her. Ali got up and gave her a violent beating first, saying, 'Tell the Apostle the truth.'"

Shortly before I consciously rejected Islam I decided to visit a Hindu Temple near me - just to see what they did - I was surprised to see them prostrating much like Muslims (though statues of Krishna etc... were in front of them).

I guess God doesn't mind Mushrikeen getting rid of the extra electrostatic charges from their brain either.

You can bow down  as much as you like.

It's what comes out of your heart that matters most.

That is done in yoga also and almost all the old religions... so they must all be from the same god... but it seems like the only similarity that existed...

This link here gives his details, and I got the article itself from a flood of copy & pastes on Challenge Your Soul, an Islâmic website dedicated to someone called Khalid Yassin.

Khalid Yasin is an African American convert, I think he was a former Christian Minister. Featured in Channel 4's "Undercover Mosque". He's the man with the red in his beard who says 'muslims are instructed to do 'brainwashing' '' (taken out of context imo).

I chose to get circumcised at 17, don't tell me I never believed.

I think his degree is in civil engineering or something engineering related.

Might lead to a job opening for someone though. The rugs/floor coverings in a mosque were probably rubber and nylon free, originally, and provided no barrier to electrical earthing, so any man-made floor coverings will need to be replaced pronto to offset the bad vibes that static induces.

Religion is ignorance giftwrapped in lyricism.
