    I know I haven't been as active as usual because I had to prepare for going back to school and the first week is always hectic. But I will come back more often lol. And congrats to Dawud for JoTM.

    So, with all the newcomers stealing the limelight and what not, it’s been a while since I’ve had to do this whole “speech” business, so excuse me if my oratory skills are a bit rusty. I’ll try my best.

    So, appreciations. First off, I’d like to thank Mod. Well, one mod in particular, Luthiel, who nominated me. Without her, none of this would even be possible. So, Luthiel thank you for being awesome. Keep it up. (Of course you will. You’re Mod. You’re awesome by definition. worship)

    Second off, I’d like to thank the moron who put out that silly Meaning of Life video. Without your pathetic spoken word performance, dear random Muslim Dawagandist, I would never have been inspired to write and record the piece that earned me this nomination. So, with all contempt and irony, I thank you. And I hope that you too will join us here as a proud apostate one day, Insha Allah. Say Insha Allah.

    Also, I’d like to thank the 7 people who voted for me. On a forum with over 3000 members and that has scores of people logged on at any one given time, the fact that 7 of them found the time in their day and the kindness in their hearts to click one simple button next to my name is truly touching.
