    I do, I mean the universe is so vast and unexplored, it seems unlikely that our planet is the only one capable of supporting life, or even that we have the entire facts on what it would take to support life since an alien race could be so vastly different from us their requirements could be wholly different.

    I'm not one of those "UFO" conspiracy theorists, but I do believe that somewhere out there is alien life.

    What about you?

    Tin foil hats are the aliens way of misleading the public into believing there is any protection against them, so us humans get all complacent in our tin foil hats whilst the armada comes to conquer us all.

    Given the vast number of planets in the universe I would be very surprised if alien lifeforms didn't exist, however I'm not overly convinced that any of them have managed to visit this planet as yet, except for the reptilian overlords of course.

    Maybe. I was so sure I seen one when I was a kid (flying saucer, probably was just a regular ole airplane), but I used to watch all the UFO shows, and believed in big foot and loch ness monster. I don't think about them so much, if there are, cool, but if they're not, whatever.

    I'm agnostic about aliens and Allah! Cheesy

    He/they might be there, but we can't be sure, he/they're probably not. Smiley

    I think Star Trek was probably the most important entertainment tv series of the last century.

    I wouldn't be surprised if a new religion was spawned from it. With of course me as the principal prophet.

    It was the human moral dilemmas they were faced with each week that was the most interesting aspect of the show.

    I mean how often can you say 'May the force be with you' until it gets boring.

    Speaking about Star Trek did anyone ever see that episode when all the inhabitants of one planet walked around covered in a sheet. It was their culture you know.

    Never watched it. Is it any good? I may have to add it to my 'to watch' list. Anybody ever seen Firefly/Serenity? One of the greatest scifi shows I have ever seen, I'm still mad at Fox for completely ruining it, they were responsible for it's cancellation! finmad Why is everything I love being cancelled? Cry

    I wonder how long Stargate Universe lasts before that is cancelled. I bet it gets cancelled after one season...

    I think Erich van Dankian also had the same idea (although he was serious about it) when he wrote "Chariot of the Gods" although he uses references from Mayan and Incan drawings (as far as I can remember - has been a few years since I read it.)

    Lost in Space is ancient and, by modern standards, either pathetic or kitschy depending on your preference.
