Second Coming of Jesus in Islam

Second Coming of Jesus in Islam

This may sound stupid but this always puzzled my mind. According to Islam, Jesus will descend from the sky into Damascus Syria near the end times with the help of two angels. But one thing that puzzles me is how are people from China, Canada, New Zealand and Africa supposed to see Jesus? When he is descending, how can I see him if I live all the way in Canada? Syria and Canada are thousands of miles apart. If heaven is not located in this universe, where will he come from? From space? From some portal?

You are being silly, of course you can see everything coming from heaven since earth is flat.

Yea thats a good point. Not only a flat earth, but when Muhammad was alive, the size of the earth was probably small to him. He probably thought earth was really small, like the size of Arabia and Israel up to Egypt and Iraq. But there is no way that all of earth today could see Jesus descend from heaven. I have to ask a Sheikh this question one day lol. Of course, the answer would probably sound something like Allah knows best, or only Allah knows.

Whoever said we're all supposed to see Jesus?

I chose to get circumcised at 17, don't tell me I never believed.

It says in the Hadith that the people of the book will see Jesus and everyone in the world will become muslim.

It does? What I recall is that Jesus won't accept any religion besides Islam; they'll be compelled to become muslim...

I chose to get circumcised at 17, don't tell me I never believed.

What puzzles me more is why Jesus & not Mo? Thats like getting picked up at the airport by the wrong guy?

My mum was telling me about this the other day, took a lot of effort not to laugh at the idea of a long dead guy coming back to life

What if I don't want to be a muslim? God can go screw himself. I know humans more benevolent, knowing and powerful than him.
