I spose Christians see ex-muslims as potential recruits whereas muslims see you as a loss, or maybe even a threat.

I would have thought that if Muslims saw us as a loss, or a threat, then they would be even more inclined to come here and talk it through.  If I was a muslim, this is where I would be to show a more presentable version of Islam, certainly not in a masjid.

(P.S You muslims out there, please do not see this as an open invitation to come & badger me)

What annoys me, out of all the religious groups, we only tend to get Christian fundies on this site.

I have hardly come across a muslim, or had a debate with one, since I joined here and its an ex-muslim site.  Where are they - dont they have issues with some of contentious things said?

Or is it just 'holier than though' Christians that see our soulless meat as worthy fodder?

Lol, it can be so, but in whole my life I never tried to recruit no one single soul, we live in modern times, have access to intenet, librarys, thousand of books and other sources and I believe that everyone must fund and has right to find the truth on his own way. Live your life and let the others live theirs live, respect each other.

It's sad that you see that you hate God, but I can't blame you. I had really hard life, won't bother you with my story, but never accused God for all things witch turned bad for me. In my heart I know, whatever hapends in my life, I have only my self to blame.

Wrong,  I dont believe in God because something really bad happened in my life. Nothing that bad has ever happened in my life, not yet anyway thankfully.  Wrong. I dont hate God or love God. How can I, he doesnt exist.  Your premises are all wrong, its no wonder your conclusions follow suit.
I'm spiritual person, and I feel emptiness in my heart without feeling love.

Apart from the sweetened fabrication in your mind, please dont look in Gods direction for it otherwise you will be forever disappointed.

There is so many books about Islam, I wonder if you found truth about Mohammed in any hadith, if so can you give us some example which made you left Islam ?

    =============

    Hi, thx for reading  Smiley.

Are you looking for any Hadith? I mean there are thousands of them,

I'm sure you read Mu's opinions about women being mind-deficient etc , ya?

Browse this forum, specifically sections that deal with religion and women.

    Quote
?On the occasion of Eid, either that of sacrifice or that of ending the fast, the Prophet, peace be upon him, went to the prayer place, and then went to speak to women and he said: ?Ladies! I have not seen people deficient in mind and religion yet can get away with a rational man?s mind like any one of you.? They asked: ?How are we deficient in mind and religion, Messenger of God?? He said: ?Is it not true that a woman?s testimony counts as half that of a man?? When they answered in the affirmative, he said: ?This is her mental deficiency. Is it not true that when a woman is in her period she neither prays nor fasts?? They again answered in the affirmative. He said: ?This is her religious deficiency.? (Related by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Thank you for the fast response  Smiley

I just curious which of sources you used to search info. Sorry, don't want to bother you with my questions, just asking for some examples of maybe hadiths. I know it's thousand of them, I don't want to read them all, only few of them, that about woman is familiar to me. If you don't have time, it's ok. It's late now, I wish everyone a good night sleep and thank you ALL for all replies  Smiley

I'll soon post some, the hadith about women's minds is mentioned in my previous reply to you, goes like:

I think it's because refuting Islam is our specialty: any Muslim apologist posting here would quickly get beaten back with a plethora of counter-arguments. So they avoid the forum altogether, I guess? As for God, it is difficult to hate an entity/concept which cannot be verified to exist.

Most Muslims hate talking to Ex-Muslims because it makes them feel far too uncomfortable.

    To Jasmin;

    Here are some, (for now):

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said,
    Quote
(If a man Invites his wife to sleep with him and she refuses to come to him, then the angels send their curses on her till morning.)

     (Bukhari, Book #62, Hadith #121)

    A'isha reported that
    Quote
two persons visited Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and both of them talked about a thing, of which I am not aware, but that annoyed him and he invoked curse upon both of them and hurled malediction, and when they went out I said: Allah's Messenger, the good would reach everyone but it would not reach these two. He said: Why so? I said: Because you have invoked curse and hurled malediction upon both of them. He said: Don't you know that I have made condition with my Lord saying thus: O Allah, I am a human being and that for a Muslim upon whom I invoke curse or hurl malediction make it a source of purity and reward.

     (Muslim, Book 032, Number 6285)

It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that he heard the Messenger of Allah say:
    Quote
I have been commanded to fight against people, till they testify to the fact that there is no god but Allah, and believe in me (that) I am the messenger (from the Lord) and in all that I have brought. And when they do it, their blood and riches are guaranteed protection on my behalf except where it is justified by law, and their affairs rest with Allah.

(Muslim, Book 001, Number 0031) (Narrated also by Bukhari)

    Narrated Al-Bara bin Azib:

    Quote
Allah's Apostle sent a group of persons to Abu Rafi. Abdullah bin Atik entered his house at night, while he was sleeping, and killed him.

     (Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 370)

    Narrated Al-Bara bin Azib:

    Quote
Allah's Apostle sent some men from the Ansar to ((kill) Abu Rafi, the Jew, and appointed 'Abdullah bin Atik as their leader. Abu Rafi used to hurt Allah's Apostle and help his enemies against him. He lived in his castle in the land of Hijaz. When those men approached (the castle) after the sun had set and the people had brought back their livestock to their homes. Abdullah (bin Atik) said to his companions, "Sit down at your places. I am going, and I will try to play a trick on the gate-keeper so that I may enter (the castle)." So 'Abdullah proceeded towards the castle, and when he approached the gate, he covered himself with his clothes, pretending to answer the call of nature. The people had gone in, and the gate-keeper (considered 'Abdullah as one of the castle's servants) addressing him saying, "O Allah's Servant! Enter if you wish, for I want to close the gate." 'Abdullah added in his story, "So I went in (the castle) and hid myself. When the people got inside, the gate-keeper closed the gate and hung the keys on a fixed wooden peg. I got up and took the keys and opened the gate. Some people were staying late at night with Abu Rafi for a pleasant night chat in a room of his. When his companions of nightly entertainment went away, I ascended to him, and whenever I opened a door, I closed it from inside. I said to myself, 'Should these people discover my presence, they will not be able to catch me till I have killed him.' So I reached him and found him sleeping in a dark house amidst his family, I could not recognize his location in the house. So I shouted, 'O Abu Rafi!' Abu Rafi said, 'Who is it?' I proceeded towards the source of the voice and hit him with the sword, and because of my perplexity, I could not kill him. He cried loudly, and I came out of the house and waited for a while, and then went to him again and said, 'What is this voice, O Abu Rafi?' He said, 'Woe to your mother! A man in my house has hit me with a sword! I again hit him severely but I did not kill him. Then I drove the point of the sword into his belly (and pressed it through) till it touched his back, and I realized that I have killed him. I then opened the doors one by one till I reached the staircase, and thinking that I had reached the ground, I stepped out and fell down and got my leg broken in a moonlit night. I tied my leg with a turban and proceeded on till I sat at the gate, and said, 'I will not go out tonight till I know that I have killed him.' So, when (early in the morning) the cock crowed, the announcer of the casualty stood on the wall saying, 'I announce the death of Abu Rafi, the merchant of Hijaz. Thereupon I went to my companions and said, 'Let us save ourselves, for Allah has killed Abu Rafi,' So I (along with my companions proceeded and) went to the Prophet and described the whole story to him. "He said, 'Stretch out your (broken) leg. I stretched it out and he rubbed it and it became All right as if I had never had any ailment whatsoever."

     (Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 371)

    Narrated Al-Bara:

    Quote
Allah's Apostle sent 'Abdullah bin 'Atik and 'Abdullah bin 'Utba with a group of men to Abu Rafi (to kill him). They proceeded till they approached his castle, whereupon 'Abdullah bin Atik said to them, "Wait (here), and in the meantime I will go and see." 'Abdullah said later on, "I played a trick in order to enter the castle. By chance, they lost a donkey of theirs and came out carrying a flaming light to search for it. I was afraid that they would recognize me, so I covered my head and legs and pretended to answer the call to nature. The gatekeeper called, 'Whoever wants to come in, should come in before I close the gate.' So I went in and hid myself in a stall of a donkey near the gate of the castle. They took their supper with Abu Rafi and had a chat till late at night. Then they went back to their homes. When the voices vanished and I no longer detected any movement, I came out. I had seen where the gate-keeper had kept the key of the castle in a hole in the wall. I took it and unlocked the gate of the castle, saying to myself, 'If these people should notice me, I will run away easily.' Then I locked all the doors of their houses from outside while they were inside, and ascended to Abu Rafi by a staircase. I saw the house in complete darkness with its light off, and I could not know where the man was. So I called, 'O Abu Rafi!' He replied, 'Who is it?' I proceeded towards the voice and hit him. He cried loudly but my blow was futile. Then I came to him, pretending to help him, saying with a different tone of my voice, ' What is wrong with you, O Abu Rafi?' He said, 'Are you not surprised? Woe on your mother! A man has come to me and hit me with a sword!' So again I aimed at him and hit him, but the blow proved futile again, and on that Abu Rafi cried loudly and his wife got up. I came again and changed my voice as if I were a helper, and found Abu Rafi lying straight on his back, so I drove the sword into his belly and bent on it till I heard the sound of a bone break. Then I came out, filled with astonishment and went to the staircase to descend, but I fell down from it and got my leg dislocated. I bandaged it and went to my companions limping. I said (to them), 'Go and tell Allah's Apostle of this good news, but I will not leave (this place) till I hear the news of his (i.e. Abu Rafi's) death.' When dawn broke, an announcer of death got over the wall and announced, 'I convey to you the news of Abu Rafi's death.' I got up and proceeded without feeling any pain till I caught up with my companions before they reached the Prophet to whom I conveyed the good news."  (Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 372)

    Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah:

    Allah's Apostle said,
    Quote
"Who is willing to kill Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?" Thereupon Muhammad bin Maslama got up saying, "O Allah's Apostle! Would you like that I kill him?" The Prophet said, "Yes," Muhammad bin Maslama said, "Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab). "The Prophet said, "You may say it." Then Muhammad bin Maslama went to Kab and said, "That man (i.e. Muhammad demands Sadaqa (i.e. Zakat) from us, and he has troubled us, and I have come to borrow something from you." On that, Kab said, "By Allah, you will get tired of him!" Muhammad bin Maslama said, "Now as we have followed him, we do not want to leave him unless and until we see how his end is going to be. Now we want you to lend us a camel load or two of food." (Some difference between narrators about a camel load or two.) Kab said, "Yes, (I will lend you), but you should mortgage something to me." Muhammad bin Mas-lama and his companion said, "What do you want?" Ka'b replied, "Mortgage your women to me." They said, "How can we mortgage our women to you and you are the most handsome of the 'Arabs?" Ka'b said, "Then mortgage your sons to me." They said, "How can we mortgage our sons to you? Later they would be abused by the people's saying that so-and-so has been mortgaged for a camel load of food. That would cause us great disgrace, but we will mortgage our arms to you." Muhammad bin Maslama and his companion promised Kab that Muhammad would return to him. He came to Kab at night along with Kab's foster brother, Abu Na'ila. Kab invited them to come into his fort, and then he went down to them. His wife asked him, "Where are you going at this time?" Kab replied, "None but Muhammad bin Maslama and my (foster) brother Abu Na'ila have come." His wife said, "I hear a voice as if dropping blood is from him, Ka'b said. "They are none but my brother Muhammad bin Maslama and my foster brother Abu Naila. A generous man should respond to a call at night even if invited to be killed." Muhammad bin Maslama went with two men. (Some narrators mention the men as 'Abu bin Jabr. Al Harith bin Aus and Abbad bin Bishr). So Muhammad bin Maslama went in together with two men, and sail to them, "When Ka'b comes, I will touch his hair and smell it, and when you see that I have got hold of his head, strip him. I will let you smell his head." Kab bin Al-Ashraf came down to them wrapped in his clothes, and diffusing perfume. Muhammad bin Maslama said. " have never smelt a better scent than this. Ka'b replied. "I have got the best 'Arab women who know how to use the high class of perfume." Muhammad bin Maslama requested Ka'b "Will you allow me to smell your head?" Ka'b said, "Yes." Muhammad smelt it and made his companions smell it as well. Then he requested Ka'b again, "Will you let me (smell your head)?" Ka'b said, "Yes." When Muhammad got a strong hold of him, he said (to his companions), "Get at him!" So they killed him and went to the Prophet and informed him. (Abu Rafi) was killed after Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf."[/b]

     (Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 36)

    Um Kerfa's matter:

She was a well recognized Arabian old woman; known for her wisdom and nobility. Arabs used to say (a proverb): "Greater than Um Kerfa," (when praising someone). She was ((brutally murdered)) by Mu's companions fulfilling his command after being criticized by her. She was split between two camels (tying her between them, and force them to run in opposite directions), beheaded her and placed her head on a stick (walked with it around the city)...

This is mentioned in several sources. Among others:

So where you from Jasmin, tell us a little bit about yourelf..

I'm from Poland, bud I moved to Sweden when I was 18 years old. I have two children, boys and one of them is Christian one is Atheist, and I'm we are discussing very title about Christianity at my home. I don't like to set a pressure, faith is very private matter, I'm trying to keep it for my self as much I can, if no one ask me about it, I don't tell them.

Non from my family was believers, but I started love Jesus when I was just a girl, I remember very well that day I understood that Jesus grab my heart. It's another story, don't want to barred you.

No one told me to believe, no one asked me to go to church, go to lessons after my school and learn more about my faith. I love to study, I'm very curious about everything, and maybe you know that when Russia occupied East Europa, we must learn Russian language, so I have been studying Russian in 11 years.
I get tired of it, so I bought books and cassettes in English lessons, I stared to teach me English on my own, because it was very hard to find a private teacher.
I understand English very well, my son speak fluently, but I don't want to trouble him and ask him for help... so I'm asking you for help so I apologize when you find words I spelt incorrect or bad grammar, I will try to continue learn myself better English, just have so little time after my work I have so much to do.

My son reminds me about you Hassan , but I told you, I don't dislike ppl who don't believe in God. I know even muslims, since we have almost 600 thousand Muslims
in Sweden, most of them live in Malm? or Stockholm, in the big cities, so I can speak with them every day if I want, but many of them speak only arabic, or are from Irak, Turkey or Somalia, Afghanistan, Egypt etc...

Tell me exactly what do you want to know about me so I will try to answer to your questions. I'm very average person, not special in any way ...

Thank everyone you tor taking your time to read my post  Smiley

wondering if we can add an entry for this forum in particular and link it to the COEM WikiP entry under "See also" instead of the hyperlink.

    Immigrant Rape Wave in Sweden

    (Clicky for piccy!)

Swedish girls Jenny and Linda were on their way to a party on New Year's Eve when they were assaulted, raped and beaten half to death by four Somali immigrants. Sweden's largest newspaper has presented the perpetrators as "two men from Sweden, one from Finland and one from Somalia", a testimony as to how bad the informal censorship is in stories related to immigration in Sweden. Similar incidents are reported with shocking frequency, to the point where some observers fear that law and order is completely breaking down in the country. The number of rape charges in Sweden has tripled in just above twenty years. Rape cases involving children under the age of 15 are six - 6 - times as common today as they were a generation ago. Most other kinds of violent crime have rapidly increased, too. Instability is spreading to most urban and suburban areas.

According to a new study from the Crime Prevention Council, Br?, it is four times more likely that a known rapist is born abroad, compared to persons born in Sweden. Resident aliens from Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia dominate the group of rape suspects. According to these statistics, almost half of all perpetrators are immigrants. In Norway and Denmark, we know that non-Western immigrants, which frequently means Muslims, are grossly overrepresented on rape statistics.

Don't you think you ought to qualify that in some way - unless you are suggesting that the answer to the question:

What are Muslims in Sweden like?

    Is:

    They are rapists!

I thought that too - I dont think Islam codifies rape!  Its more to do with poverty & lack of education amongst immigrants - exactly what Sweden needs in order to carry out their dirty work.

Rape is a very bad side effect, but not of being a Muslim - if anything non-marital (excluding slaves) sex is strictly forbidden.

It's true, that in the old testament God was not so nice

Has he changed his personality now?

He planed to came to us, and show through Jesus that He loves us

Couldn't he show us he loved us before?

Is Hell part of his love for us?

He's got multiple personality disorder Wink He's also schizophrenic but I think he's starting to recover now as he no longer thinks he is multiple gods Tongue

Emerald,  Thank You Dear, so sweet of you to help me to understand more about Islam, I will read those hadiths carefully,  the heard about the firs one, that angels will curses every woman which refuse her husbands invitation to the bed, I hope that average Muslim don't know this hadith...

A justification I read for this one is that the women shouldn't refuse sex except under certain circumstances (outlined in Shariah) in order to prevent her husband going astray. I have personally never been so angry and insulted when I read this. So this is all women are good for, fucking sex! It's not even necessary to think about how we feel or respect our needs, it's all about the mans desire for sex finmad

Yes sorry, you are right and of course I don?t think that all muslims in Sweden are rapist.

A proportion of them are and I don?t understand it because as Islame wrote, non-marital sex is strictly forbidden in Islam. However, this proportion (however large it is) has caused rape charges to triple in Sweden and also there are immigrant areas in Swedish cities, Malmoe in particular, where ambulances and fire engines are pelted with stones and therefore only go under police protection. I must admit, that things like this scare and upset me.

@ Islame - What dirty work is it that Sweden carries out ?

Thank everyone you tor taking your time to read my post  Smiley

lie the prophet of islam rarely was peaceful when dealing with non muslims.. he was especially

ruthless.. and not to mention the marriage to young aisha.. that is what pretty much

sealed the deal for me.. i couldn't live a lie anymore..
