I musta seen this movie (
Glory) a dozen times, and yet I still get a big ole lump in my throat during this scene, when the guy says "Give 'Em Hell, 54th!":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2c_BvVBd-Q&feature=relatedThe final battle scene right after the previous one posted also still gives me chills (you may not want to watch this if you haven't seen the whole movie or don't know the history of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry Regiment and their assault on Fort Wagner):

Can't believe I forgot to add the very end of the movie:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uzr-tgTQA7QAs to the real history behind this scene--
The General in command of the Confederate fort ordered Col. Shaw buried in a mass grave "with his niggers", intended as an insult to him.
Col. Shaw's father certainly didn't take it as an insult and, after the war, when informed of Union attempts to recover his son's body, stated:
"We would not have his body removed from where it lies surrounded by his brave and devoted soldiers....We can imagine no holier place than that in which he lies, among his brave and devoted followers, nor wish for him better company – what a body-guard he has!"His father steadfastly refused all efforts to exhume and rebury his son.
