Looks like the kid had the upper hand.

Considering the snake was obviously defanged it was more cruel to the snake than the kid.

Yeah, and my comment was:
even if it is de-fanged how does this make it ok? would you give an unloaded gun to child to play with? What kind of message are you giving to the child. Moreover would it not make more sense teaching the child some educational skills or something? I honestly don't see how this can be justified by making a comment as such that the snake is de-fanged. It is nonsensical to let a child "play" with a snake, heard of human-rights and animal rights?

I suppose if the kid grew up to play with cobras so much that he neglected his studies it could become a problem. In the meantime the kid doesn't look old enough for school and it seems that cobra wrestling is an effective method of developing a child's sensory motor skills.

I see no evidence that the people making the video are hindu or what they are doing has any religious significance. Even if they are hindus, it is slanderous to vilify an entire group of people based on the actions of a few. I see kids babies playing with dogs, cats whatever. Its not cruel to the cat or dog. Its not cruel to the baby.

But a dog can kill a child and it happens many times.

You don't see headlines "Christian Stupidity - Let child play with dog."

There no proof that this has anything to do with Hinduism. Where is the support in the video that shows that Hindu scriptures say this is a required ritual? How do you know they are even Hindu?

Suppose the father is a snake charmer and that is their pet? Who knows. But it's disingenious to generalise like that.

I am not attacking the nationality of folks I am attacking the faith... And what it leads. I can only apply stupidity do a belief system. Being a Pakistani or an Indian is your nationality and not all Indians or Pakistanis are stupid, some are atheists.
