When I got bored debating Muslims at answering-ffi, I chose this avatar of a yawning tiger. Were any of you at answering-ffi, btw?
Avatars are a strange thing, because in our case, the avatars most people have do not reflect CEMB. The signature usually do. They are often related to religion or something similar.
Compare with the avatars of users to FFI? Do they reflect the feel of the forum? How is this "feel" created? By the moderators, the users? The content? Does this not change? Does then not the feel of the forum change?
It's a good point. Why do we choose the avatar? Is it to say something about our username? Then our avatar is an extension of that. Is it our ideology? The problem is assuming that we can say anything at all.
There is no doubt that the avatars and the signatures we choose tell something about our selves. Interpreting what they say is not that easy because the information is too insufficient.

What you think? What does it say about him? The change of avatars, how often, and what kind?
It would be a good and entertaining exercise. It would also enhance our perceptions in a way. Debunker is quite good at figuring out about people; he is quite perceptive.
