The reason I dont hurt other humans or "robe" is because I wouldn't want anyone hurting me. The golden rule. I am not scared of them hurting me, and I do not fear the law in that way, there are plenty of ways to hurt people without invoking the law on your ass.

personally I don't believe there's any god . But isn't one of the central tenets of both islam and christianity that only 'their' god is right and anyone subscribing to an alternative brand is damned ?

Atheism does NOT equate to "if it feels good do it " . There are consequences to actions beyond a personal invitation to heaven , I consider myself more moral than many religious people I know , I believe in trying to do the right thing for the sake of my own soul as well as the effects on the society around me , I've never felt I need some medieval superstition to back that up . And if your imaginary friend in the sky wants to hate me , it's his loss.

I accept there are parts of the koran that give that message , and I'm glad that's the branch you're following . But it's not the only one is it ? What about the treatment of apostates under islamic law ?

I don't know of any atheist that believes that there are no consequences for actions.

The only thing they reject is the belief in God, and consequences in an after-life.

If God hates them because of that then God is cruel and unjust, because he has failed to provide undeniable evidence of his existence and a next life.

Unless you can show me some undeniable evidence that God exists and that Islam is true - then your words are meaningless.

Interesting, that seems to be the regular answer for most followers of religions. It's like putting the cart before the horse really. Like saying 'Yeah, I love that song.' before you've even heard it. Almost as if the spiritual side is secondary/a 'bonus', which quite ridiculous in my view.

I didn't feel any spiritual connection. Honestly, I tried my best, but there was no spiritual connection whatsoever.

That is part of the reason why I rejected it (besides the absurdities).
