I've just got to share my good news with you all! Two days ago I went into hospital for an angioplasty with stents, to fix my furred-up ticker. I was out the following day. You may remember my near- death experience in february. Well, it was decided to do the angioplasty and it's worked brilliantly. I feel like a new man already.
When the bruising's gone down and the drugs have worn off I'll be back to biting the balls off charging lions. But I'll start with a few longish walks first, I think.

Please don't get carried away and start doing that as lions are a protected species these days and preservation of their balls in good working order is essential to their continued survival.

Glad to hear you're feeling much better though.

Stents are brill. I had to have one in my kidney temporarily. Glad to hear you're better, I bet your mum feels silly for sending you an early birthday card now.

Thanks folks. Pleased your stent worked Cheetah. As for the birthday card: my mum now feels entirely justified in sending it 'early' as she puts it.
As for the lions, Oz: I'm quite sure they've nothing to fear from me - I don't smoke , so have no need of a novelty tobacco pouch.
