Just thought that all you people here who have left Islam or any religion, and also those among you who are not 'out' yet to your friends and family; you all should be proud of yourselves.

Really you should.

Because Islam today is like going back in time for me, the west has been through all this religious dogma shit before and broke free largley from Christianity.

Islam still has that hold on its followers, so i think those who do question the teachings and use their very precious minds gift to look into things and investigate - then make up their minds to leave the religion are brave and intelligent, and you should be proud as it seems its often against a somewhat hostile response, in other words its kind of a risk for you to do it. Not because some islamic hit man is going to kill you, but just because islam is so ingrained in its communities and such forth. Once you leave it, it must be hard.

But like i say, i think your all very inspirational people, the sort that give me hope that humanity can still think for itself and move forward.

So i just want to say, be pround and cheers!!!

I agree, In a very non patronising way, I am very proud of all our ex muslim, and ex anything members here. Doesn't matter if we agree all the time or not, we are here, all of us making a choice to be outcasts if need be in order to follow our hearts. That's something to be proud of.

Sadly the majority of the religious grow up in societies where they are indoctrinated from birth with little hope of thinking outside the box.

Knowing Islam is the only true religion we do not allow propagation of any other religion. How can we allow building of churches and temples when their religion is wrong? Thus we will not allow such wrong things in our countries. - Zakir Naik
