BTW, I just thought of a something that I want to hear your opinion on.

First of all, you need to know that my parents don't allow me to bring pork and alcohol into the house. Although they don't mind non-Halal beef/lamb/kitchens and I have used our utensils to cook non-Halal steaks or burgers.

My family is outta town for a few days and I used the opportunity and got some bacon, pork chops, chorizo, and Frankfurters sausages as well as booze.
Now the the booze is OK. But do you think it's immoral of me to use our utensils to cook pork behind my parents back?
I am washing them thoroughly but is that enough? should I feel bad about it?

Fuck off both of you..  I live on Tabasco and when I cut myself I bleed Tabasco (or a mixture of Tabasco and Verdala wine and Smirnoff to be honest)

and yes I cum Tabasco as well..

Wow...Never thought I would see the day....  A Tabasco Extremist... Roll Eyes

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I remain.

I'm currently living with them so I don't have my own utensils.

Exactly my thoughts. And no I don't feel guilty. Even if I wanted to I couldn't cuz I don't believe in any of this shit.
My question is: is it immoral?

I don't know many. Most of the dishes in the pictures I posted were made my by mum. But you can ask about a specific dish and I can ask my mother.

No. It's not. If the rules are not true, how can it be immoral?

I don't think you should do it. You maybe thinking 'what they don't know can't harm them' but point is, you know and you know that if they knew they wouldn't be happy. Since it's their home, I don't think you should be using their utensils to cook pig-based products. It's dishonourable.

Also, part of morality is honour and trust between people and a certain level of respect for their beliefs (even if you do not agree with it).

Edit: just wanted to add the above point.

I wouldnt serve any muslim guest of mine anything not halal.
I agree with fererro... trust is very important.  I wouldnt
put any meat or meat biproduct (i.e. bacon grease, or any kind
    of meat stock for stews/soups)
in a vegitarian's meal, either, for that matter.
If it offends them, regardless of the reasons, why would you
    want to do that?

My thoughts too. It's just that I didn't act on them.  parrot

Of course, me too. I would never put anything non-Halal in my parents food. I'm just talking about using utensils. Like I said, my mother doesn't mind me cooking non-Halal beef or chicken with our utensils. But I haven't asked her about pork (and would never ask her).

Wrong. The correct question is - What would Jesus do?

Stop posting pics from the Internet Ferrero.

Looks really nice. What kind of steak is that? How did you make the sauce?

Do you have a frying machine for the fries?

I made the steak and sauce. It's 21 day matured Rib-eye which I seasoned in salt and pepper few hours before cooking. Sauce is double cream, beef stock, pink peppercorns, dijon mustard, white wine, ground black pepper and teh juices from the steak once we cooked it.

The unlived life is not worth examining.

It was 21 day matured ribeye. It was much thinner than how we usually have it. We prefer the thicker type, more juicy and the thinner ones are easier to cook well-done rather than medium.

Peppercorn sauce: heat double cream gently, crumble in beef stock cube, add whole peppercorns (we used pink) tsp of dijion mustard, capful of white wine. Flavour with black pepper, add the hot juices from the cooked beef and cook off for 4 minutes or so. Be careful not to boil the cream.

I cut the chips by hand and cooked them in a regular pan.

Steak was £15 quid or so/kg. We bought nearly £6 worth. You pay over the odds for matured steak at restuarants (once i asked for well done and they gave it to me burnt it was disgusting) so it's not bad. We usually pay around £10 in meat to feed 2 people (if matured, premuin cut). Worth it Afro

Used to LOL.. lived in Florennes, near Dinot.  Where were you?  I never did learn flemish tho,
they spoike that primarily up north.

RIB EYE ROCKS!!!!   Nice thing about coming from "cowboy-ville" in these parts,
GOOD rib eye, new york strip, and tri tip roasts are abundant and fairly inexpensive.
They dont cure the meat here like they do in europe, though.
