    I thought it was fish?

Bf just made me bangers and mash, yum yum! The mash is a mixture of potatoes and butternut squash, much better than normal mash!

Last time, we are having dinner into the fast food restaurant, which is the KFC. We ordered a lot of menus and I am satisfied to the meal. I loved to eat the chicken recipe of KFC.

chinese beef noodle soup is my favourite; if anyones interested here's the recipe

    Quote
Chinese Beef Noodle Soup with Shiitake Mushrooms

Prep: 10 mins  Cook: 10 mins
    Serves: 4
Lean steak is flash-fried then added to a full-flavoured beef stock with oriental vegetables and nests of fine noodles in this attractive noodle-bar favourite.

    2 tbsp soy sauce
    1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
2 tbsp Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
300g lean rump steak, sliced into very thin strips
1 litre beef stock, made with stock cubes
    4 spring onions, sliced
    150g shiitake mushrooms, thickly sliced
200g baby pak choi, leaves halved
    200-250g instant fine white noodles
    1 tbsp sunflower oil

    Preparation method
    1. Combine the soy sauce, sesame oil and Chinese rice wine or sherry in a bowl. Add the strips of beef and toss until well mixed. Leave to marinate until needed.
    2. Heat the stock in a large pan or flame-proof casserole. Add the spring onions, sliced mushrooms and halved pak choi, and simmer for 2 minutes.
    3. Add the nests of noodles to the pan of vegetables and cook for 2-4 minutes or until tender.
    4. While the noodles are cooking, heat a wok or frying pan with the oil and stir-fry the beef for 2 minutes or until browned. Tip the contents of the pan into the simmering stock. Bring back to the boil. Taste and season with black pepper, then ladle into four serving bowls and serve.

Cheese slices are cheap as chips if you buy the supermarket's own-brand stuff.

Need some ideas on what to make this weekend. Preferably something that I can freeze & microwave so I can eat it at work and it'll last me the week. It has to be vegetarian and healthy, but also filling. I've got plenty of fresh tomatoes which I need to use up so anything using them would be good.

I've been flicking through a cookbook for ideas but it was full of boring food! I want something complex like curry, but I'm bored of curry. Wanna try something new and 'strange'. Any ideas?
