Has anyone tried those "Reisin" chocolates, they have luscious
choco on the outside with cocoa caramel in the center.

They are the best tasking choco Ive had in the USA! Thy taste
european for sure!  I now understand why the aztecs would only
allow royalty to eat choco, after tasting those

Get the fuck out of here. You call it Dolma? seriously?
ONLY Iraqi call it Dolma. Among ALL Arabs ONLY Iraqis use that word. (maybe Kuwaitis as well).

I gotta say that's very weird

Actually, ate octopus in tokyo ALL the time LOL.  Raw, grilled, boiled etc etc.
All the train stations also had stands with charcoal grilled whole squid. They
    were really good!

oh... oh... no.. never ate like those two videos LOL.
However, abolone in sushi restaurants were still alive,
and they tasted REALLY good too.  They would slice
off pieces and serve it.   "Freshness" was the purpose
    for that.

rasheed.. when i lived in louisiana, i used to make sweet potato pie
from scratch.  yummmmm!!!   When i was told "vanilla extract" had
alcohol in it, when i baked (like cheesecake, pies, etc)  I substituted
it with pumpkin pie seasoning, and also added a bit of nutmeg and
it tasted FANTASTIC!!!   I would puree fresh berries, add a bit of
sugar, and arrowroot (to thicken it), heat it slowly, then cool it
off, and then drizzle it over the cheesecake.

Alcohol evaporates when it's cooked within food.  You can't become drunk by eating it like that.  There was nothing wrong with cooking with vanilla extract.  The way you make it sounds delicious though.

I used to make it from scratch back in my 20s, but it's been so long.  Now I rely on my loved ones to make them.

rasheed.. i realize that, but the muslims that were "teaching and instructing" me
said it was forbidden.  they were mostly pro shariah, and at the time, i wasnt
aware  of the varying degrees of islam.  My teachers taught me the shariah way.

anywayz... roasted or BBQ lamb is the bomb!!  No sauce though. I prefer it with
butter, lemon, and middle eastern style yogurt, and saffron infused pilaf
*drools*  Iraqi athiest posted a pic of my favorite, its ground lamb packed
onto a spit, then spins on a rotisserie, and they slice it off as it cooks.
(although in his pic, its like ten feet tall LOL... ive only seen it about 2 feet high LOL)

You don't know me very well....

When I make curry...I usually use about 3 pounds (6.6 kg)  of chicken...Just for myself.  Wink  grin12

Plus about 4 pounds of various vegetables.  I'm a growing boy.

*sigh*  I wish I knew how to clean that sh*t up.  That kind of nonsense is probably responsible for the majority of apostates than anything else.  Everytime y'all mention something like that it pisses me off more and more.

'O you who believe, wine and games of chance and idols and divining arrows are only an abomination from the deeds of Satan. Leave it aside in order that you may receive felicity.' (Al-Ma’idah: 90)

How is using it in your food leaving it aside? How are you even arguing that you can buy it?

There are hadiths that even being near wine is haram. What are you talking about dude? Seriously?
