Hello aliadiere, you seem to be a different person. What is your stance on religion? Are you a freethinker, an atheist, gnostic or else... ?

What do you mean I seem to be a different person?

And in regards to my stance on religion, I would say I was agnostic. I don't believe in a God like in the Abrahamic faiths, who is clearly a human construction.

Agnostic, for God to you is a stranger, and you would not wish for communion with a stranger. Am I right?

Agnostic as in it is unknown whether a God exists or not. One thing I am pretty sure of is the anthropomorphic Abrahamic God doesn't exist. A God who has human characteristics, emotions and motives.

Not really.  A stranger exists, you just dont know them yet.  An Abrahmic God does not exist, nor will you ever know them - just a construct of human imagination.  If not, please prove otherwise.

Do you accept the sahih hadith or are you Quran-only?

Yes, a sacred hadith meaning, from Allah; as to the wording, it is from the messenger of Allah . In which Allah has communicated to His Prophet through divine revelation (including Quran), and he has communicated it in his own words

Agree, God was characterized as human.  Afro

The problem for Muslims is that the Qur'an depicts God with human emotions and characteristics.

One has to bend over backwards and put one's head between one's legs - and then some - to explain it all away.

I tried it for a long time and just got terrible back ache - and had to eventually ask myself, 'why am I doing this?'

For the answer is that all is God and God is all:'There is one God; none exists save He,'
Difference between God and our being is not of the being; in being, God and we are one.

    What do you think?

     Did you mean Solat (prayer)

So, what does prayer mean to you?
