"I can help you with that.  You can say the following:

Ammi jee, mein Islam nu nai mann di.  Main nai roza rakhna.

Mein eho jai insaan nu rasoolallah kidda mann sakdi a?

Main music sunn na va, main apne pasand de kapre pone a, main kafirran di dost bann na chondi a, mein haram khaana khaana chondi a?

    *translation*

Mummy, I don't believe in Islam.  I don't want to fast.  I don't want to pray.  I don't want to read the Quran.  The Quran contains nonsense.  Muhammad was a vile person.  Muhammad got many people killed.  Muhammad was a terrorist.  He married a 6 year old girl.  When she was 9, he f***ed her.

How can I believe that such a man was the prophet of God?

I want to listen to music, I want to wear what I want, I want to be friends with kafirs, I want to eat haraam food?"

......hmmmm and her mum might say the following back to her.

Hai hai. Haraamzadiay! Teri itni jurrat kithoon pai gayi? Chal jaakar maafi mang allah kolloon. Takya eeyo hondha hai university jaa je tay kanjar gorrian naal reh keh. Kuch zayada hee zabaan challan lag payee hai. Men tere abba ki kya si ke tera vaya kar shorna si. Teray phir hosh tikanay aanvan.

    Translation!

Well Well. Bastard (female)! How dare you show such audacity. Go ask for forgiveness from god. See this is what happens when you go to university and living with the promiscuous white people. Your mouthing off a bit too much. I told your father that we should have married you off. Maybe you would have seen sense.

Umm, no offense but would you mind using the quote function? It makes things easier to follow. Smiley

Hehe thanks guy, not quite sure if I want to word it like that though Tongue I'm not even sure how to pronounce some of those words too. I think this might be a good opportunity to come out fully. Next problem will be telling them about my bf, they're gunna flip when they find out. Why couldn't I be born into an atheist family? :(

    Lol @ 20yearstoolong.

Your punjabi is a bit more mirpuri/northern than mine, but I knew what you said.

PS, I agree with Os... use the Quote function.  It makes things easier to follow.

Lol Shahid! You could have been a little bit more delicate than that!

To anyone who does not understand, if you translate the bit in bold into English, it means "when she was 9, muhammad fucked her", but if you translate it literally, it means "when she was 9, muhammad smacked her with his dick"!

Are there any mirpuri's in the house?

I'm half Mirpuri, although I have rarely been. Are you?

Why? Is there a stigma attached to us? (I'm Mirpuri btw).

Basically, Mirpuris tend to be the rural poor, and thus, were looked down on. They are seen as being country bumpkins and generally uncouth. Did you just come back from Mirpur and whereabouts?

By the way, if you are Mirpuri, I wouldn't use what Shahid told you to tell your mum!

I was in two minds whether to write that or not.  I didn't wanna be too vulgar.  When I posted it I thought "Should I have written that?"

Lets be honest, when it comes to punjabi cussing I could say much worse. grin12

Mirpur is improving a lot albeit very slowly. They're building a lot of modern houses now (really colourful ones, they look very cool!). A lot has changed there over the years I've visited the place. They're still quite far behind though but they're catching up. I live right next to the lake in Mirpur, don't know the name of the specific area though.

I identify Mirpuris by the way they speak.

    eg
Instead of saying Tu, they say Tu-sun.
Instead of saying Ussi, they say Us-sun.

Most words seem to end in "sun".

By the way, if you are Mirpuri, I wouldn't use what Shahid told you to tell your mum!

Well it wasn't all bad, but yes I agree DO NOT say what I said to your parents (as if you didn't already realise!).

You are right, except they say Tu and Tu-sun.

Tu-sun is a more respectful version of Tu

I forgot about the respectful thing.

The way we say Tu respectfully is Tu-si.

    Mirpuris say Tu-sun.

I don't know why people look down on Mirpuris, they are seen as backward and the cause of problems. What I do know is that the vast majority of Muslims in the UK that join extremist groups are from a Mirpuri background.

The birds are quite hot though.

Mate, I would have to disagree with that. If you go to a major city and look at the young Mirpuris, most of them don't even know the first thing about their religion. All the boys care about is fighting and blowjobs, and all the girls care about is having amazingly straight hair. I don't think you can say that the vast majority of Muslims who join extremist groups are from any particular ethnic group.

Where I'm from there is a lot of Islamic indoctrination in their schools. The girls have a burkha style uniform but without the face veil. I was reading their books and it is full of so much Islamic brainwash. My cousins aren't particularly religious though.

That is based on research by the worlds foremost experts on terrorism and radicalisation. Read 'Leaderless Jihad' by Marc Sageman. Most HT and Muhajiroun people are MP.

Don't get me wrong I have nothing against MPs,

I can see where you are coming from. I remember something that this bloke who i worked with said once. He had just got married to a girl from England and come over, and he was saying about Pakistanis/Mirpuris in England:

"What I don't like about this country is the young Pakistanis are either way too far from their deen or way too close to their deen". And I think that is true to an extent. On the one hand, you got all the young people who don't know anything about Islam, and just like fighting and blowjobs, and on the other hand you got the Al Muhajiroon types as well.

Hey, I had a thought, did mo know about more hours of daylight at the northern/southern hemispheres, because at the equator the length of the day doesn't change (or not much, im no astronomer). Or did he just not care? about people having to starve for so long?

Of course he didn't know, and this is a very big flaw in Islam.

There is 24 hour daylight in the northern hemisphere in the months of June/July.  When Ramadhan occurs in these months (in several years), are the Muslims living in these regions supposed to fast 24 hours a day?  Roll Eyes
