I bet that if some McDonald's exec sees that they will try to sue those poor bastards arses off for copyright infringement.

They probably will sue ... there used to be a kebab shop in north london called 'McDoners' and mcdonalds sued them . Miserable bastards .

This geezer probably earns about 20 quid a week. If they did sue, they would be the biggest bastards on the planet.

Obviously not. They don't give a shit about this bloke. He is not damaging their business in any way.

If anything he is providing advertising for McDonalds, including materials & space, for free. These people probably dont have a McDonalds nearby anyway.

Like the great Murdoch's "celebrate these innovative individuals" business speech when he commented on Indian sticking large metal pots on their roofs and getting satellite for free, as he was getting a larger advertising revenues with an audience who he would not normally have had.

Hey, is anyone here familiar with intellectual property/copyright/trademark law? (I hope I got the terms right ) I've seen Hassan use clips from movies but I've wondered how much is legal or if it is legal at all. Maybe some could make a thread and sticky it, I've decided that I'll be making some videos in a few months when some time clears up, and this information would be nice to have.

And did they win it? Becasue McDoners is not the same as McDonalds. Would they sue any one who's name has the Mc letters? That is stupid. And for that Pakistani Guy, as Ali said, he is not a thread, but actually free Ad stand! Just like wearing a T-Shirt that says McDonalds!
