Imagine a house with which has 11 rooms, but you are only aware of 3 rooms, and yet you base all your experiences of the house on those 3 rooms, your reality is a subjective 3-dimensional experience.
M theory isn't really analagous to 'rooms in a house.'
If Science is to discover the Ultimate Truth, it must not neglect its investigations into the subtle realms. By claiming that these realms or soul-phenomena do not exist for they cannot be perceived by the objective senses or monitored by instruments is prejudicial and scientifically irrational.
You say that science must 'discover the ultimate truth' but how does science do this without observation and testing?
Incidentally, we don't currently have the means to detect or monitor directly any alternate universes or paralell dimensions, so science at the moment is attempting to find a way to measure their effect on things that we *can* measure - ie. gravaton particles (this is an application of the hadron collider, incidentally). ie. if they can 'catch' a gravaton particle 'exiting' our universe, that is one more step forward to demonstrating M theory.
Also incidentally, science HAS tested the 'effect' of spritual (religious) incantations and rituals on things in our everyday world (ie. prayer, miracles etc..) and found that they do not stand up to scrutiny or the scientific method.
So what exactly are you proposing that science should *do*?
