  • Allah loves Ex-muslims more than he loves Muslims.
     OP - August 17, 2009, 08:26 PM

Sounds funny so I decided to start a thread about it...
May sound like bullcrap, but it makes a lot of sense if you think about it.
We don't make weird excuses when we don't like something in the Quran.
We don't whine about false interpretation or false translation of the Quran and Hadith.
So we are more likely to go to heaven than most muslims.
    Anyone agree? ^^

It can't be much of a higher being if it hates you.  Why would it create something and then hate it?

Yeah! I tried and tried my hardest to have this thing called "iman" whatever it is. Yet still I just found it so hard to believe. Maybe I'm one of those who are made for the hell fire!

No, i have often wondered why we are different - and I cant put my finger on it.  I certainly dont think we are cleverer or naturally more inspired than the average muslim.

    So why is it?

I think if there is a Gawd, he is happiest with the bravest of mankind. Apostates would probably be in this category, those who stand up and get counted. Tell their parents that they don't believe anymore, tell their wives, tell their children. Lose a lot of their friends but carry on going because they still would rather be a lone ranger than a sheep.

And then there are those like me, who are too cowardly to say anything. Not because they are in danger, but because they really can't be bothered causing trouble.

I salute all of the brave apostates!

Prosaic, this is exactly the thoughts I had when I was a muslim and I fought them off for a very long time, always thinking that the problem is me and not the religion.

On the contrary Muslims think we are stupid for not seeing Allah in his creations.

Being honest with yourself isn't actually brave, just application of common sense, and peace of mind is easily achievable.

But I thank you anyway and I wish that you find the answers that may give you peace of mind.

You're situation is different, you are young, relient on your parents, have a father and live in a Muslim packed area.

    I am older, not reliant, I don't have a father-just a frail mother and I live in a 99.8% non-Muslim area.

The only factor with me is because I don't want the trouble!

So basically, you can't join my band of cowardly ex-Muslims because you are a poser!  Cheesy

I dont think thats true.  From what I remember of your personal situtation is that it is different and more complicated than those usually raised here.  I dont blame you, do what you think is right & the fair thing to do..

That's a very good reason to keep quiet about it.  Its not cowardly, its considerate of your mother's feelings.

Thanks, but being considerate is something I am getting bored of, selfless deeds and actions aren't in my nature and I can only put up with it for so long.

    Thanks anyway though.

No, c'mon - I know it's a joke - but I also know what's in the back of the mind of every Muslim.

    HELL DOESN'T EXIST... OK?

IF... and that is a BIG IF... IF there is a God - then he definitely wont be burning ex-Muslims.

    He wont be burning anyone.

Not even the bastards - like those stupid Mullahs, who deserve burning!

    I was afraid.

    I'm still afraid at times.

Maybe that's why it took me so long.

But my rational/sceptic side won the battle with my fear - eventually!

    Yep!

Your mind is corrupted by modern thinking - you must just put your mind to one side and "Hear & Obey!"

God gave us a mind by mistake.

    Less afraid?

    I'm still afraid.
Listening to my uncle give us sermons on the day of judgement and hell and what will happen to those who are judged keeps me up at night wondering if i am wrong and will end up in hell.
