Muslims that breaks Islamic Laws

Dear all,

We all know that there is muslims, or at least most of them, breaks islamic laws. Breaking the Islamic lwas like, praying 5 times a day, drinking alchohol, having sex outside of marriage and etc. I got a question to ask all of you, that is do you guys seriously think that these muslims like ex-muslims when they see one? They may break islamic laws, yes, but remember, they are still muslims, and that means they don't like us. Because we have supposedly became a "traitor", remember? so, to all of the guys and girls out there, please be careful of these type of muslims because i'm sure that their intention is not good, because to them, they have choosen the bad side by breaking the islamic law. They will only had sex with girls, cause them to get pragnent and either they vanished or pushed their responsibilities to you. For the guys, before you know it, your child will suddenly hate you. I believe that these will likely to happend if they know that you are an ex-muslims. These people are deceitful.

Ah everyone has/had Muslim friends like these.
My old friend used to be exactly like that, slept around, drank, did drugs but she wore the hijab and called herself a Muslim and that seemed to have been fine for her and she judged me when i told her about my doubts and cut contact with me. So yeah, they dislike us or at least the ones i have had contact with.

I learned my lesson :/

I think its a mixed bag, and for me a great litmus test. The people who have a problem, are not people I would have been interested in knowing as an ex-muslim or a muslim.

The others actually find it different & intriguing, and like Jack pointed out earlier, find it a challenge. I find they also are pleased that they are not the only ones having doubts, and are happier that they still have managed to believe despite them.

Quite a generalisation don't you think? I broke many laws and I'm sure many others on here did too when they were muslims. I have personally never hated ex-muslims as a muslim.

Beware of turning a few experiences or some observations into a sweeping generalisation.

I've never hated non-Muslims when I was a Muslim. I too broke few rules, like not praying enough. But during Ramadan I did fast and I did put in the effort to go to Friday prayers. Personally speaking, I'd much rather hang out with Muslims who are more liberal than any hardcore Muslims any day. In fact, a lot of my friends are that way. The only thing I won't tolerate is hypocrisy--I too have met people such as Meredith described.

Let's face it most Muslims in the west break Islamic laws on a regular basis during some stage of their lives. How many young men can resist sex, drink, porn, clubbing and other satanic delights on offer here

Take the Pakman challenge and convince me there is a God and Mo was not a murdering, power hungry sex maniac.

These people really bothered me when I was a muslim. I always thought they were taking the piss out of islam or even god. I'm of the opinion that islam is a hollistic religion, take it or leave it. Why mess around? I mean if you believe in the existence of god then surely he's able to see what you are upto.

Ironically I think another reason why ex-Muslims leave Islam is because they think that IF there actually were a God, they think he would be better than this (and so think more highly of him than Muslims) and are more sincere in their actions and less willing to be hypocrites lol

Even at the height of my interest in Islam.
I couldn't resist the haram things in life ... was way too tempting ...

MUSIC!! Even the most devout Muslims I met in my life listen to some music in their life. Its funny because some Muslims I have met make Haraam into Halaal and Halaal into Haraam lol. Ex, Music is Halaal. technically they have disbelieved by doing that!

K so there's this entire community of muslims and they all drink, sleep around and do drugs, and they are also front rows in the mosque and promoting/preaching islam all over universities and over thier facebooks! Like i seriously want to murder them!!!!!! they are not following the religion, and yet they promote me???

it makes me so sick, I'd rather be a "disbeliever", than some hypocrite

I remember reading about the Mongol invaders who crossed the lands of many religions - they made mountains of heads of those they slaughtered but kept the priests, Imams, Rabbis and other religious notables alive - JUST IN CASE!
