Reagan talked a lot about "freedom", but like most politicians, in reality he didn't give two shits about freedom which is fuckin obvious from his policies-- cracking down on porn, ramping up the Drug War and sending incarceration rates skyrocketing, violent interference in the domestic political affairs of Latin American countries including funding and training death squads in El Salvador and Nicaragua that went around murdering any civilian suspected of sympathizing with the FSLN/FMLN, planning internment camps for anti-war protesters in the event he decided to invade Central America, supporting the Islamists in Afghanistan, appointing anti-gay culture warriors like Meese and Buchanan to his cabinet, appointing another one (Scalia) to the US Supreme Court. Yeah, real fuckin freedom-lover that Reagan was.
