anyone know how to post these as direct images instead of links (quickly & easily without having to save them using third party software first)? Or has facebook saved them in such a way that its not possible to do so, because there are loads of great images on facebook that I like to put up but they stored in this way...

Yes. Why anyone would use I.E. is one of the remaining great mysteries of the universe, alongside such as - why are we here, where do we come from, and why does toast always land buttered-side down?

This is what happens when people use i.e. The link should end in .jpg (or another image filetype). Click on the links you posted here, then get the image link from the actual pictures..

ok, I access a lot of inter-governmental website for my work, some requiring lengthy passwords using a mixture of alphanumeric digits sometimes 15-20 digits long (and no, FF automatic password fields dont these in)
You can save the link as a favourite in IE, change the name and add the password in there. That way I can copy & paste from the link

Locate picture (it's the big thing in the middle).

Right click picture. On the massive list of about 6 options, select 'copy image location'. Shocker, I know. You have your link. TA-DA.
