HB the cut off date is 09/12/09--this upcoming Sat. If you have 15 min of free time, download Audacity and just follow the format I've provided. You can also freestyle a bit and add anything extra if you wish.

Can I write a paragraph or two for myself?

I used to be AtheistPakistani on youtube, but I closed it a month or so back as I had felt I had achieved its objective and the fact I got bored with it as I had accepted who I am.

I prefer not having any voice recording or picture done, for privacy reasons, but I can write a small paragraph no doubt.

I wrote this on another forum back in January.

Over the past few months, I've become increasingly dissatisfied and plainly annoyed by organised religion (Islam included) over the course of this time.

My intense hatred of the clerical establishment, the holier-than-thou self-righteous hypocrisy, the intolerance of others, the ambition of controlling humanity and make them subservient to them in the name of god, the whole yadda...gone tired of it all.

It seems that I am on the road to total rejection of religion as a means of keeping myself in fear of something which is probably made-up and not like anything written in some books compiled by some clever writers a few thousand years back.

Yes folks, if all this keeps on going, I may become something totally different.

Quite frankly, I wont even consider myself an agnostic, as to me this universe is so vast for just one speck of dust and on it one species of creatures get preferential treatment over others by some deity we probably made up. The higher being (if it exists) above is probably too concerned about running the universe and making it tick rather than be concerned about punishing someone who had a wank in his room (soniq ? )

I'm not perfect, in fact I'm as flawed as the rest of you, but I am becoming increasingly disturbed by religion - in fact I have been regular to Muharram majalis near-by (they give free food and I'm poor ) and some of the things said are mind-bogglingly exaggerated which for many is inspiring, but for me is plain b.s. about miracles etc.

This may make me either a total rejecter of religion or maybe cause something for me to happen that may make me come back to faith...

Its up to you what sort of mindset I may have, but its my own problem

Well, considering that Os made a special appeal for you, I will give you my input.

Your video should contain numerous references to buttsex. Ideally there should be a reference to mind-blowing anal sex at least once for every ten words spoken. Post a YT video without any references to booty banditry and Mohammed, Jesus, Marx, and Darwin will form an unholy alliance to take you down.

Yeah, today is the deadline. By the end of today, I won't be accepting any more submissions.

Tomorrow I'll start on the video. I'm shooting to get it done by next Saturday (I have schoolwork and other things to take care of).

Also I should let everyone know that NONE of the you tube ex-Muslims replied to me. I don't think they even got my message--but whatever, with what I have from you guys is plenty for the video.

After today, I'll post the final update as to who submitted a piece for the video. Judging from that list, if I've missed you, please send me a PM.

Ehsan Jami the ex-dutch politician for the ladies @ 0.26, and Turan Dursan (RIP - murdered for his beliefs) 1:35 for Hassan, who mentioned to me a while ago tha he did not know of any Islamic scholars who had apostated and become ex-muslims.
