    Darby launches curfew crackdown

    Photo: Man is taken into custody on Fourth Street in Darby Thursday night for allegedly being on the street after new 9 p.m. curfew.

    DARBY BOROUGH ? Borough officials declared a state of emergency Thursday night following several nights of gunplay on streets in the Third Ward.

    A 9 p.m. curfew for adults and juveniles is now in effect along Main Street, from Front Street to Fifth Street, extending to Greenway Avenue. All of the streets are located in the Third Ward?s Second Precinct.

    Darby is a nearby suburb of Philadelphia. Land of the free my fuckin ass. State of emergency? No one's even been shot in Darby since July, and this fuckin grandstanding drama queen of a mayor is acting like it's fuckin Sarajevo in 1993 or Beirut in '83. Fuck you, you fuckin authoritarian scumbag bitch.

    9 pm curfew for adults? I don't see this holding up in any court situation.  This guy sounds like he is grandstanding big time for the press and hoping to use this to vault himself into a legislator or higher position in the political realm.  Also, he sounds like a dick.
