Ironic- I have been told by a number of fundie Christians here in the USA that I was "never really a Christian". I also have been told that I am going to hell, prayed and all sorts of stuff. The funniest was when I asked a rather simple question of a fundie who claimed the King James Bible was perfect in every way. She hissed and screamed that I was controlled by satan, the son of satan and was going to hell as a servant of satan.

She had me doing everything but his laundry- and she never answered my question !

It happened at a train station- spent the whole ride with about 6 people (who saw it happen) asking me all sorts of great questions about atheism.

Wow ! Even doubt is a crime ! The parallels /w fundie Christianity is haunting.

Also, his use of "I'm Just saying" is one of the most tortured and strained attempts of being known for for a "catch-phrase" that I have ever seen outside of a half baked Hollywood sit-com / TV Program ! What, did he feel "I'll be back" was already taken ?

I'm so sorry Mr. Hassan. I'm sure that after the age of 20 onwards you were a devout Muslim until you had your doubts in your late 40's. I see that if you were a hypocrite, you would have hidden in a closet but you're a famous ex-M. If you were a coward you would have been afraid to tell the world what you think. note: Some fundies here in the US hold the view that the KJV is "perfect" and no other translation should be used. Some even go as far as to say it is an "inspired" translation. This is in spite of the fact that the group of men who made the KJV openly admitted that their work was not perfect. Most theists I meet are far more reasonable than this.
