CAIRO ? In the delicate realm where the Koran meets human desire, Heba Kotb, a Muslim sex therapist in a ruffled gold head scarf, has strong opinions on vibrators, foreplay, premature you-know-what and why more men can't seem to locate the G-spot.

An hour in her clinic, where some women wear black abayas that reveal only their eyes, is a liberating venture into a culture that has traditionally relegated talk of sex to a family whisper. Demure she may appear, but Kotb's voice is strong and unapologetically public. The Koran, she said, forbids sex outside marriage, but within that union carnal satisfaction is a requisite for happiness.

In a society in which male clerics issue fatwas, or religious edicts or opinions, addressing all layers of family life, a feminine voice on something as intimate as sex has made Kotb a celebrity and a cultural revolutionary.

Some conservative clerics accuse Kotb of catering to sinners and Western-influenced permissiveness, but, overall, there has been little outcry about her frankness. Kotb's advice on sex is meticulously framed within the context of matrimony, which she says is a gift from God.

you can't do oral,
anal is not allowed,
getting fully naked is makruh,
it is sunna to say certain prayers during sex
anstead of enjoying after play, you have to rush to take a shower because fater sex now you are impure and angels have walked away from you, until you clean yourself.

How the f**k this all makes sex better???

Will it depends on the person you are having sex with. In my experience, I have enjoyed sex better with non Muslims because they know what they want out of it more and are more clued up.

Take the Pakman challenge and convince me there is a God and Mo was not a murdering, power hungry sex maniac.

I think you have to read two nafl before the act and say Allah hu Akbar with every thrust if it's a non Muslim slave girl.

All I can find about prayer is this dua you have to recite before sex-

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.397 Narrated by Ibn Abbas

The Prophet (saw) said, "If anyone of you, when intending to have a sexual intercourse with his wife, says: 'Bismillah, Allahumma jannibna-sh-shaitan, wa jannibi-sh-shaitan ma razaqtana,' and if the couple are destined to have a child (out of that very sexual relation), then Satan will never be able to harm that child."

If you read Deobandi texts they scare the he'll out of you. You can't masturbate, should have sex for recreational purposes, strictly procreational. You can't see your partners body and must have sex still semi clothed. And all the stupid duas and nafl.

Try selling that to young horny teenagers.

Blimey! Thanks guys, interesting. Sexual repression, yet another meme to infiltrate the mind.

The book 1984 has a good idea on this:

I always thought this is hilarious. Having sex with my missus is not anybody's buisness... Not Mohammad, not Allah. Even before I knew Islam was BS, I decided if I was to make love to a woman, I said to myself I will never perform these silly ritualls. In fact on my wedding night I refused to follow an Islamic cultural thing where the familly and friends will lead you to the wedding house (my house) reciting Quran and duaa and singing that incuded the word "Mohammad" and I thought to myself, what the fuck, is it me who is getting married or him??

Anyways, what I did was a very different from what people hear do, I sort of westernized my wedding of course after taking permission of my lovely wife. On the wedding day we attended a little cermony where some music was played, met and said hello to the guests and after dinner we changed and drove to the airport to fly for our 3 weeks honeymoon. We reduced the usuall 3 days rituals to just one night celebration, and boy did we get the look?

Anyways, I am glad now that kept Mr Mohamed out of my wedding!

Sometime back China intended to ban porn, and even erotic stories. Could be for the same reason?

Interesting, I'd suspiciously say: yes! But hang on, they have a population issue ... so not sure :-/ Would need to check out China's demographics, I think they have relaxed the one-child policy in rural areas.

That should Bukhari 75:397. This hadith is also repeated slightly differently in 93:493.

8:397 is a different hadith- Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: While the people were offering the Fajr prayer at Quba (near Medina), someone came to them and said: "It has been revealed to Allah's Apostle tonight, and he has been ordered to pray facing the Ka'ba." So turn your faces to the Ka'ba. Those people were facing Sham (Jerusalem) so they turned their faces towards Ka'ba (at Mecca).

Anyway sex in most religions has its taboos. It can really only be truly liberating with no religion attached.

Knowing Islam is the only true religion we do not allow propagation of any other religion. How can we allow building of churches and temples when their religion is wrong? Thus we will not allow such wrong things in our countries. - Zakir Naik
