    There was a mass street meeting of  Muslims today in Camden Market. They had positioned themselves on each of the four corners where Parkway meets Camden High St. There was a tannoy blaring out what Im guessing were prayers in Arabic , interspersed with messages in English about the plagues of pornography , alchohol and general sinning and that the answer was Sharia Law. People were invited to convert 'before its too late', anyone not agreeing with this would burn in hellfire yada yada.
    The men were in the street giving out leaflets whilst the woman were seperated under a gazeebo from where they also handed them out.
    I happened to have my Nikon DX on me and so thought there would be some interesting images to capture.
    I had taken about 3 pics when I was approached by two muslim  , well , yobs. The agression was full on  and I was invited to fuck off or get the camera smashed. I explained I was within my rights and that the law was on my side. They didnt give 'a fuck' and their angry eyes drove home the veracity of the statement.
    I moved away but they were following behind me so I walked up to a policeman and explained that I was being threatened. He had a word with them and they walked off. During all this a commotion had started across the road , I found out later that some 18 year-old punks had taken one of the leaflets offered and then thrown it on the ground with a comment about it being a load of bollox. Not slow to being offended the leafleter smacked the guy in the mouth  ( gotta love that instant sharia stuff! ) a little fisticuffs ensued and then about 30 to 40 of the muslim preachers ran  over to the corner and these kids were surrounded. It looked like they were going to get a good beating till the police arrived. There was a total of 8 cars and three vans full of police there. I was snapping away when some other angry  muslim guy came up to me and said 'lose the camera ...or else'  I was saved by another scuffle breaking out and the guy gave higher priority to  his opportunity for a scrap  than hassling some infidel taking pics.
    I was going to post a couple of the pics but not sure how to go about it on here. If anyone wants to advise............

    I've seen the brothers leafleting in Camden Town as well.

    What a place to do it, in one of the most alternative, cool, hipster, MTV, grime and hip-hop goth-punk-jazz cafe parts of London.

    An area devoted to creativity, fashion, youth culture, multi-ethnic melting pot and music, and these bigoted bozos think they'll get some purchase.

    Camden Town represents all that is fun, cool, edgy, hip about being young and British in London. These brothers represent all that is miserable and medieval in the world.

    The Guy in the 3rd pic on the far right, is he wearing a denim jacket? Isn't it Haram to imitate the infidels? Did he ride a horse or a camel to reach Camden? I always find it funny when people stick to certain dress code for ID. It is the same with those Jews in black suits and black hats and long side burns.

    Well in Islam's case, Islam is a sort of a 'cultural invader' as well as it being a religion--not only does Islam force it's religious views on someone, but it also pushes the Arab culture on non Arabs, implying that Arabs are somehow better than the rest. I mean a religion which says that god can ONLY be worshiped in the Arabic language is nothing less than xenophobic. Same argument can be applied to Judaism.

    My first thought when I read the op was, 'Camden Town?  WTF?  Are these guys crazy?'.  Stick to Tower Hamlets, you prats!

    Good thing I don't live in London anymore or I would have probably been in Camden Town myself and would have started wailing on those bozos with my New Rocks!

    I get the feeling that bigots WILL be inevitable given a normally distributed human population and a  bigoted cause. Given this premise, these bozos are a reflection of BNP bozos.

    Funny you should say that . Heres a cut and paste  from another web site  about the recent fisticuffs  between  marching muslims   and the BNP that I thought pretty much nailed the ideological quandry some folks find themselves in :


    This stuff is being compared to the Cable St riots. It is fuck all like it. If I had been around at the time I would have been there as a anti/fascist and laying into the the Jew haters because the reason the fascists were there was simply because the people were Jewish and that the believed themselves superior to them.
    Whats the difference with this ? Well I still find it easy to hope the fascists get a good kicking , however I find it very difficult to support the other side as well. Why? Because I honestly believe that they are just as fascist.

If they had ghettos they were imposed on them or created them as way of feeling safe , not to prevent them from being corrupted by the filthy infidel into whose society they had chosen to come.
    The same could be said for many other immigrant groups to the UK over the centuries.

    The reason I cant support the Islamists is for the above reasons. I believe their religion and philosophy to be a hateful one. I believe a lot of them to be as fascist as the pricks from the EDL or BNP. Yeah yeah , Islam is a religion of peace.
    Anyone who says different shall be beheaded.
    Islam in Arabic translates as Submission, not peace as is claimed.

    What really rankles is the way our cowardly politicians , appease and run scared from these Islamofascists and so allow those other bunch of fascists fuckwits to be the only ones voicing some of these grievances, although for very very different motives to mine.
    Islam is not a race , its an ideology , an insidious spiteful , backward ,hateful one at that. I have no problem with muslims who wish to practice their faith, and I know that a great number want no truck with the fundies but I will be fucked if Im going to stay quite while some of them hold their marches with some of the vilest placards and rhetoric that would match or trump anything Ive seen those BNP wanks hold.

    Someone has to grow a pair of balls and speak out against the Islamofascists and tell them to stop spreading their hate and to chill the fuck out. Its a fucking disgrace that the only ones taking some of these matters up are right-wing thugs , who twist it to suit their own insidious  agenda.However, they are only exploiting the vacuum that the cowards that are supposed represent the people have left by their fear of speaking up lest they be called fascists themselves or , erroneously, racist. . Oh the fucking irony. You could cut it with a scimitar.

    No, that's a good point.  Why are they fighting jihad in Camden Town when there are muslims dying in other parts of the world?  A bit too much trouble to get off their fat asses and do anything that might involve risk or effort, I suppose.

    No, this is the right thing to say, and to say it to them.  I used to do this, sort of baiting the jihada-bees when I was Muslim with questions like this and they would get very angry and sputter and throw quotes in my direction that amounted to "Thou shalt burn in the ever lasting flames for daring to make fun of someone who gets a hard on at the idea of some other person going out there and killing someone else on behalf of my god."  I mean really, if you're that keen on it, go do it yourself.  You say that to them and they get defensive, but that's what we need. To show the younger hangers on and others that this is what they are - arm chair jihada-bees.  For all of the awful, awful things that we can say about the real Taliban and the Shabaab and all that - at least they are putting their asses on the line.  At least they are walking the walk. 

    It's like those fat bearded Hamas and IJ fucks in Palestine who convince young men and women to blow themselves up for the glory of a wedding in paradise. If it's so wonderful and you really believe it, blow your own self up, dicktard.  I've even gotten people angry at me for saying that about the Hamas and IJ leadership - about them, not even about the people I'm talking to.  Like you can't criticize or question them b/c they live in a fucked up situation, and you're not allowed to take issue with the way they respond and react to that situation. 

    And they say they only worship one god.
