Anyone else heard of this movie? I want to watch it.

I find the fact that Hugh Jackman is in it very random, but I won't complain  parrot

The end quote in that trailer, "The heart of man, is really the heart of God" really just summarizes my views on religion and God.

No one knows what God is, or if even there is one--we just as human beings present our understandings of the world through the label 'god'. If a man does good, it can be called the work of god's will. If a man does wrong, it can also be called the work of god's will. The truth of the matter is, there probably is no god. We as human beings just enjoy being authoritative whilst rejecting authority. All it is just a showcase of human nature.

By the way, did anyone else notice when Hugh Jackman was talking about Christ, Shakespeare, Buddha, Krishna, and Socrates being at the dinner table and getting along.....he left out Mohammad?  Cheesy

Interesting statement. It kind of answers one of the things that most bugs me about the religiously-inclined. How can you claim to believe in God so strongly and yet purposefully disobey his laws?

Ha. Didn't notice this. I wonder if it's because he was fearing the Muslim backlash, or because he has studied the intolerant character of Mohammad.

I did kind of notice that Islam wasn't shown in the greatest light. I mean, apart from the little girl that says "I am Muslim" they only show the men talking about jihad. I could see the trailer upsetting Muslims, if not the movie itself.

It's you, isn't it? Congrats on your first movie appearance, Os.

Wow - I never took Wolverine for the kind of person that can discourse on a meeting between Jesus, Buddha, Socrates, Krishna and Arjun  and the meaning of God.....

Does anybody know the exact date of this being showed in the UK(if at all)?
It seems from the website http://omgmovie.com that it is only shown in the UK in a Jewish Film Festival or something. Is it not coming to cinemas outside the US?

Sounds interesting. It shouts out 'pantheism' as soon as I saw that trailer.

"The ideal tyranny is that which is ignorantly self-administered by its victims. The most perfect slaves are, therefore, those which blissfully and unawaredly enslave themselves."

November 13? What is so special with this date? 2012 the movie is being released on that date. Is it because it is a Friday? And a 13?
